The Village of Channahon is offering the opportunity for people to honor their loved ones with a tree to be planted along the village's Memorial Tree Walk, located at the northeast corner of the village hall.

Trees will have a plaque indicating the type of tree, the person being memorialized and the name of the person or group bestowing the honor.

Pricing varies by tree selected and there are 29 species from which to choose. The first plantings will take place in May.
