Columnist to Discuss Kendall County History at Chapel on the Green Jan. 27
Roger Matile, director of The Little White School Museum, to provide insight on county history.
Roger Matile, "Reflections" columnist for the Kendall County Record newspapers will speak at the Chapel on the Green in Yorkville on Kendall County history up to the end of the Civil War Sunday, Jan. 27. Matile will discuss the history of early settlement , transportation, pioneer farming, business and government.
The program will begin at at 2 p.m. Matile is also the Director of The Little White School Museum in Oswego. The Chapel is at the corner of Church and Center Streets, across from the Town Square, just off Rt. 47.

The program is free but the Chapel accepts donations to help keep the facility and programs running.

If you think history would be almost alright if it weren't so dull...give yourself a treat and go to hear Roger Matile tell the stories. He is a great story teller, to say the very least! Get there somewhat early because the Chapel will be crowded!
