Hollywood Takes on Bolingbrook in Drew Peterson Movie Based on the book 'Fatal Vows' By Joe Hosey

Casting of major players in the Stacy Peterson saga is rounding out as missing mom's husband sits in jail awaiting his murder trial.

We've got Rob Lowe playing Drew Peterson, Kaley Cuoco cast as his missing fourth wife, Stacy Peterson, and now Hollywood has named two more actors to play some of Bolingbrook's more notable residents in the Lifetime drama based on the true crime sensation Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives of Sergeant Drew Peterson.

According to the website tvline.com, actress Catherine Dent will play "Sheryl," a character based on  Stacy's next-door neighbor, Sharon Bychowski.

Also, the website for Variety has reported that actor William Mapother will play Peterson's stepbrother, Thomas Morphey.

Dent has appeared in the television series Law & Order: LA and The Closer, and the TV movies Natalee Holloway and The Bad Son.

Mapother, whom tvline.com says is a cousin of actor Tom Cruise, has appeared in Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Lost, and The Young and the Restless.

In reality, Bychowski played a key role in keeping her dear friend's case in the public eye as she strove to get justice for the missing Stacy.

Morphey, whose father married Peterson's mother after each of their respective spouses died, testified under oath that he helped Peterson carry a blue barrel that he believes contained Stacy's dead body out of the Peterson home.

The television adaption of Fatal Vows has reportedly been titled, Untouchable: The Drew Peterson Story.

While the state police consider Stacy Peterson's October 2007 disappearance a "potential homicide" and have named Drew Peterson as the sole suspect in the investigation, they have yet to charge him with harming her.

The state police have charged Peterson with the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, who was found drowned in a dry bathtub in March 2004.

The state police insisted for years that Savio was the victim of a freak bathtub accident but changed their tune after Stacy Peterson vanished.

This is a joke. That man is an arrogant idiot. How much are they paying him? Are they going to make a sequel when they find her body or she turns up? They should not be able to make movies of open cases.

Anyone who is getting behind this piece of bad entertainment with an agenda to glorify this waste of a human, should be ashamed of themselves. This story has run in the media before and Drew's lawyers are all behind this to help their client go free. Advertising this here just adds to their hope.

Karen,
Entertainment value is pretty subjective. (just take a look at the Shorewood top movie rental list) What you consider bad entertainment is probably not the case for everyone. How do you know what the agenda is behind this movie? You must have inside information.

If the movie follows the book "Fatal Vows" at all, I don't think it's doing Drew any favors. I'm not too surprised lifetime wants to make a movie of this - maybe it will help Stacy's cause a bit by bringing the case back into the forefront? Too bad they couldn't find someone "ickier" to play Drew though.

Tyrion,
If your idea to prove you point is to call me names, then the point your trying to make holds no value and obviously not open to any discussion, There are two victims here that we must remember. I feel that making a movie before any conclusion to this horrrible situation, is just Hollywoods way to glorify Drew. His lawyers want to get a new venue for the trial and were very interested as seen on local news channels a while back. Just because you don't feel my choice for entertainment is good and that my feelings on this movie don't agree with you, doesn't mean you can call me dumb. Thats my opinion, I will not lower myself to your level by calling you names. Grow-up

What makes you think the movie will glorify Drew? It is based on Joe Hosey's book which doesn't glorify Drew. I don't know what you choose for entertainment and I don't remember ever commenting on it. As for your opinion... well you know what they say about opinions. That's why I try to stick with the facts. Maybe you should try it sometime!
