Joliet Catholic hasn't won at Providence Catholic since 1989, according to the Tribune. Will that change tonight?

Congratulations to Stagg and their new coach on an impressive win! This was a great way to start out the new FB program.

As a former student there, the history of the program has been that when they've brought someone in from outside the crony system in the district, the team has been successful.

Making this even more impressive is the fact that the new coach, if he came in as a teacher, would've been cheated under the teachers' contract from being paid more than a new graduate because the unfair, anti-quality culture in the district preventing any previous teacher experience outside 230 to be considered in determining salary.

The senior faculty in 230 really doesn't like to share what they consider THEIR money!

Kudos for Bob Fabrizio for bringing the quality new coach in despite the union-board obstacles placed in his path!

Brother Rice looked strong on both sides of the ball last night vs. Shepard. Toughest schedule in IHSA. Marist, Mount Carmel, Providence at home. St. Rita, Loyola, and Bishop MacNamara on the road.

Would you please consider adding Aurora Christian HS sports news to your list? There are many ACS athletes who live in Oswego. Thanks!

Anybody know how New Coach Steve Nye's York Dukes' Football team did last Friday? No mention of the game so far in the Patch...what gives? I heard they were playing an average Rolling Meadows team, expected a full house, and it was Senior night so it must have been a great night for all.
