No One Injured in a Two-Car Crash that Shuts Down Interstate 55
Illinois State Police reported the southbound lanes were shut down while they cleared the crash.
A disabled vehicle in the southbound lanes of Interstate 55, near the Arsenal Road exit was hit by a second vehicle at about 9 p.m. Sunday night. No one was injured in the crash, but Illinois State Police had to shut down the southbound lanes to clear the crash.
"It was just an accident no injuries," an Illinois State Police Representative said. "They had to block it in order to get the cars out."
