JCA golfer Nick Lennon has pulled out to a nice lead here. Think Eduardo Espinoza or Trent Wallace will overtake him in fan voting? Polls are open until 9 p.m. Thursday.

I grew up with Trent Wallace since he was a baby, and he is unbelievably talented in golf. There is no doubt in my mind that he shouldn't win. He dedicates all of his time to golf an doesn't fool around. Trent Wallace is the one who deserves this.

Jeff: Lennon is a terrific golfer, too, as his recent performances indicate. And he has a big lead here. Thanks for voting! Polls are open until 9 p.m. Thursday.

In a perfect world, every golfer would have the poise, raw talent, and work ethic of Nicholas Lennon. Don't be fooled by his boyish grin or his nonchalance on the course, he'll embarrass you. Once you've been sufficiently embarrassed on the course, he'll give you a ride home because he's a good guy. Heck, he'll even tell your parents that you were very close to beating him (even though we both know that this is not the case). But you'll appreciate the gesture. So will your girlfriend, who will be known as Nick Lennon's girlfriend sooner than later. It's not his fault, it's not even your fault and it's CERTAINLY not your (now) ex-girlfriend's fault. The kid can't help his charisma and the ladies can't help themselves. I guess what it comes down to is this: Nicholas Lennon is the Bubba Watson/Ryan Gosling/John F Kennedy fusion that the Joliet metropolitan area's high school golf coaches have been looking for, and Mark Hansen was lucky enough to find him.
