Pig's Kneecap Found in State Park
A frenzy of police activity took place Wednesday morning at Canal State Park when a walker found remains in the river.
A bone was found at Canal State Park Wednesday morning. Turns out it was a pig bone.

A little after 8 a.m. Wednesday Channahon Police and Illinois State Police were called out to Canal State Park in Channahon.
"We got a call from someone walking the canal," Channahon Police Chief Jeff Wold said. "They said they thought it could possibly be human remains."
But that was not the case. It turns out that the walker had found the knee of a pig.
"It was the knee of a pig," Illinois State Police Sgt. Scott Angus said.
Angus said someone was probably BBQing and threw the remains in the river.
