There is really something wrong with the Will County judges - her warrants were for previously not showing up for court for her previous driving under the influence(s) and she gets arrested again for DUI. She posts bond again and keeps on driving.

That is how the system works these days....sad part is, some people don't think it is broken.

She wasn't rearrested for DUI. She was arrested for two outstanding warrants for the offense of DUI.

Would they not have an address on file to find her in the first place?

Part of the AA program, specifically Step 9 is making amends. This includes institutions. Paying warrants in order to return to court and reconcile your case shouldn't be looked upon as a negative. I'm just grateful that Will County is a supportive community that offers services for people battling with the disease of alcoholism, it's recovering people and their families. The legal system can often be the most intimidating hurdles in the process of clearing the wreckage of one's past. It's comforting to know that support exists here.
