There are ways to graduate from college without a ton of debt. Attend CC for two years, then transfer. Work for a year or two to save money, they go to college. Get great grades in high school and you will be eligible for scholarships and other aid in college. Work while you are in college. My friends and I did all of these things and any debt we had was paid on time. It can be done because it has been done. Just be smart.

I agree 100%. Great Post.
Unless money is no object, students should focus on vocations the world needs. Those jobs typically pay well. Students and parents need to be honest with themselves when picking a school and a major.

I am a returning student and when I graduate, I will be blessed with $600/month in school loans. To keep it on the positive, I am thankful that I was given the opportunity to reinvent myself during these hard economic times....
