The president doesn't need a full Top Ten List to explain why he'll be re-elected.
6:30 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
That is hilarious. Even more hilarious is the idea he'll be reelected. Good luck with that, Nobama.
12:24 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
I'm bookmarking this and I'll link it after the election. Obama will win because Romney is barely acceptable to most Republicans for a myriad of different reasons. The GOP cannot win by alienating voters yet that is all they've been doing for the last 8 years or more.
9:41 am on Friday, September 28, 2012
I am making this as a general comment not in reply to this one specifically, but to everyone. One of our big problems as a country is the lack of respect in all regards, but particularly to anyone who holds a different opinion. I would love to see the comments reflect factual comments replied in a respectful manner instead of insulting remarks back and forth. The real problem in this country is exactly that. Shame on all of you.
3:54 pm on Wednesday, December 12, 2012
Still hilarious, Christine?
6:57 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
He is much better than the GOP candidate indeed. Most people dont want to vote for him because they are racists, not because his policies are invalid If we could give him 3 terms we should.
8:01 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
"Most people don't want to vote for him because they are racist". Here's a news flash for you, Chris; voting FOR a candidate because of the color of their skin is as racist as voting AGAINST a candidate for the same reason. In 2008, 96% of blacks who voted cast a vote for Obama. I suppose that they ALL studied the issues closely, and subscribed to the planks in the Dem platform, right? Oh, and polls show that blacks will blindly vote for Obama again this time around, despite the unemployment being much worse now than it was 4 years ago in "the community". Then there is the guilty liberal white vote -- same thing -- HAVE to vote for the black guy! Who is it again that is racist?
8:15 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
@Chris: Aren't you tired of these tired ol' left wing talking points? Overwhelmingly the black population voted for Obama in the last election. How can that be? Statistically the outcome would never equate to 96%. Ever! Thus, the next you want to come to the "party" to make a point please do so by learning to frame your argument and retire the word "racist".
1:14 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
@Chris: I question the validity of your statement "Most people dont want to vote for him because they are racists." That may indeed be your view, but your phrasing paints it as fact, for which there is no supporting data. I would point out that this pattern of label thinking -- "most people" -- is very similar to the line of thought that give rise to prejudice in other areas. Racial intolerance is unacceptable, as are all forms of bigotry. There are plenty of Republicans and Democrats who fall into the latter catergory. Just sayin' ...
10:08 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
What planet are you from? Any time somebody disagrees with Obama, the non-thinkers play the race card. Just look at his record, the man doesn't have a clue. I am so sick and tired of you race baiters. The democrats are the racists, the heterophobes, the non-producers, the takers, the hatemongers, etc. Romney is no slick. He is straight up and a lover of this once great nation. People need to vote with their brain not with their emotions. The choice for Nov is clear and it's Romney.
11:45 am on Wednesday, September 26, 2012
My personal history is one of fighting racism. Take YOUR racist comment and shove it into whatever of your orifices most suits you.
I cannot vote for Obama ... not because I am racist, but because he is unashamedly Socialist - with a hint of Stalinism. Any of his programs show that his reliance upon Socialism as a base line is evident.
I want to live in a country that values free speech -- not freedom to speak Obama's party line.
I want to live in a country that rewards hard work and initiative -- not taking from the hard workers in order to give the money to the hardly working.
I want to protect the possibility of becoming rich --not face the reality of remaining poor.
I want to practice,or not practice, my own religion as I see fit -- not have to tiptoe through the minefields of political correctness and be afraid to speak openly.
I want the country and Government that the founding fathers gave us -- not one centered on the collectivism of the Commnist Ideal.
Got that? Or do you consider everything racist?
6:24 pm on Sunday, September 30, 2012
I could never vote for any democrat because I'm Roman Catholic! I want to stay Roman Catholic!!! Section 2272 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church says:
Formal cooperation in an abortion constitutes a grave offense. The Church attaches the canonical penalty of excommunication to this crime against human life. “A person who procures a completed abortion incurs excommunication latae sententiae,”77 “by the very commission of the offense,”78 and subject to the conditions provided by Canon Law.79 The Church does not thereby intend to restrict the scope of mercy. Rather, she makes clear the gravity of the crime committed, the irreparable harm done to the innocent who is put to death, as well as to the parents and the whole of society.
The Key Words are Formal Cooperation! You cannot get any more formal that voting for or contributing to a political party who has in its platform a plank that is Pro-Choice! It doesn't matter which democrat politician you vote for...they will all vote together to preserve abortion! President Obama was instrumental in this state as a state senator to pass the "Mother's Intent" law. Even if the Abortionist makes a mistake and the baby survives the attempt on its life, Obama wanted the mother's intent to be first and foremost upheld. The baby must die!!! Obama is Pro-Infanticide!!!
6:44 pm on Sunday, September 30, 2012
Personally, I don't see how the black population can stomach voting for democrats. It was the southern democrats that were pro-slavery. It took the republican party and Abe Lincoln to stop slavery in this country. Civil Rights legislation would've never passed in this country if not for republicans. Planned Parenthood's founder, Margaret Sanger, was a democrat who felt that the black population needed to be controlled and felt that birth control and abortion was the way to do it. The Ku Klux Klan were southern democrats who lynched not only Blacks but Roman Catholics and Republicans as well. The first black congressmen were all republicans. It has been the democrat party through the entire history of this country that has done it's best to delegitimize black people in this country. Many republicans and catholics have given their lives to assisting blacks throughout history. I am not at all embarrassed to be a republican!!!
7:04 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
I can't believe you libs are still using the race card. Obama is just a sweet talker, a
con artist. Has not lived up to any of his campaign promises. He achieved what he wanted in his first term, universal health care so the government has more control.
Doesn't care about jobs, the economy.
7:08 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Why must the libs always pull out the racist card? So tell me the top 10 positive accomplishments for the US by Obama.
7:17 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
1. Didn't screw up the SEALS taking out Bin Laden
2.Made sure millions of American don't have jobs that cut into their free time
3. That beer summit thing with the cop and the professor ushered in a whole new era of racial harmony
4. Is going to tax the living $&^$ out of my jerk neighbor with the big house and boat
That's all I got so far...
8:17 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
At Gem: Love your response. I wonder if I'm your " jerk" neighbor?
6:18 am on Wednesday, September 26, 2012
I'm a lib and I have never once played the racist card. So to follow your typicaly slack jawed viewer of Fox News who spits out whatever Hannity or another dope on that network says, I have yet to hear anyone play the 'racist card'. So quid pro quo, and you better hope O'Reilly did a show on this or Ann Coulter breathed fire on this subject, what did W do in 8 years? Oh yeah 'Mission Accomplished' and 'No Child Left Behind', those were amazing successes.
7:21 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
All of you are racists. He killed bin Laden, ended the war in Iraq and has improve the economy.
7:31 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
That's a really impressive list you've got there Gem.
You've got to be kidding!!
8:03 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Hey Chris. you started at the bottom, and its been downhill ever since.NOBAMA
11:02 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
If he gets credit for killing Bin Laden, he also gets credit for killing four Americans at the embassy. As well as thousands of Americans in Afghanistan. He is due all the credit. The joke is not even funny.....it really displays the cartoonists leanings than any sort of humor.
11:39 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Yes, and I think this Chris calls himself a teacher. That is a lethal thought. He did not kill "bin Laden". And the war was already winding down on Bush's watch. And how did he improve the economy? Since you are a teacher, I bet you don't even understand economics.
12:43 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
President Obama gave the order for the Seals to kill bin Laden, so yes, he does get credit for that. He helped the economy by not letting a terrible recession slide into a depression. It's funny how people are willing to put all the fault on the President for the bad but any of the credit forth good goes elsewhere.
Americans and the politicians that allegedly represent us need to understand that partisan politics is killing our great country. If we don't figure that out we're done.
7:48 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Go burn a cross Gem
8:19 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
@Chris: Burn a cross? Really? Once again when people like you have nothing intelligent to contribute you resort to name calling.
What the heck does that mean?
1:24 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Go cash your government check, Chris. You're welcome.
7:52 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Mitt would need 3 shows to get through his list of eveything he has flipped flopped on during the past four years. Does Mittens even have any specifics to his plans to create jobs and fix the economy?
8:07 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Hey Logansdad, you must have a low opinion of people,if you think they are your equals.
10:25 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Odumba is the biggest flip flopper. When he was State Senator and then became President!! Snicker!!! Odumba was against abortion( murder), same sex marriage and wanted to enforce immigration laws. Now when he wanted to run for re election and realized he need votes, he states he's all for abortion(murder) , same sex marriage and wants to let illegal immigrants stay here! Why did he flip flop? Because he needs the votes!!
11:43 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
I guess you are right, the flipping and flopping seem to add up to extra bucks for him in his earning power. At least the decisions he make shows that he has the ablity to make a profit and is willing to gamble his own dollars. On the other hand I keep hearing of Mittens plans, what is Obama's plan? Specifics Please!
8:12 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Vera, no different than Mitten's views on abortion. Let's not forget Mitten's view on health care. He wanted to take Romney care aka Obamacare nationwide, then all of sudden he thought his whole plan was no good.
8:32 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Hey Logansdad adakov You know I never realized how many Commies or wannabees live in my neck of the woods, really sad for the ones that gave up so much for this country,I guess thats what they teach you in schools today.
10:04 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Harry, I didn't realize how many uneducated kool aid drinking republicans live out in the suburbs.
There's so many reasons NOT to elect Obama!!! We are not better off now than 4 years ago! The debt is now over16 trillions dollars and Obama will increase our taxes if elected. The jobless rate is high, and has been for a long time. The economy is still failing and the war in Iraq and Afganistan is stil going on. And there is Obamacare, which has many surprises in it that won't come out till after the election. There are more people on food stamps than any other President before. And all the people receiving gov. aid because of their jobless state is higher than ever. So sad and difficult. The President's lack of leadership during this Libya tragedy is appalling. Why wasn't the security at the US embassy in Libya and all embassy's increased on 9/11, especially when there was warning of possible unrest days before? And the US is a joke in many countries of the world. Very sad!! This President doesn't deserve another 4 years with his job performance, even though he does mingle well with all the music stars and more!!
10:23 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Thats about all he's good at, mingling with the Hollywood crowd.
They're just as pathetic as him.
11:49 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
And while in office, Obummer has improved his golf swing, ate some great gourmet meals, taken some fantastic overseas trips and travels, gave his mother-in-law housing and free meals on us taxpayers, collected more money and has aced the teleprompter. Yes, and his biggest accomphlishment is if he gets in come January 2013 we will all experience the LARGEST TAX INCREASE IN 100 YEARS. Yes, welcome to "THE OBUZZARD"S TAXMAGEDDON". Because he is an ANTI-AMERICAN and let him take his redistribution ideas back to KENYA where he was born.
12:02 pm on Thursday, September 27, 2012
Just like you said -- the exact thing I think every day: " WE ARE NOT BETTER OFF NOW THAN 4 YEARS AGO!" Who can keep kidding themselves that they are??? This is sad, said that we are a weakened country and sad that so many mindless people out there that just may elect him back into office. Too bad we can't elect him straight to Hollywood so he could mingle with his peeps full time instead of driving the USA straight into a depression in the next couple years.

He was a community organizer in Chicago BEFORE earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004. He served three terms representing the 13th District in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004.
10:09 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Pam, they will never understand. They don't care if the EPA gets ripped to shreds, that they get lied to their faces and they will repeat anything Sean Hannity tells them. The Rep's are job creators, remember... They do no wrong, and they follow party lines. Then when the majority of the people that voted for them have their backs turned, they will get made fun of like on the playground.
10:24 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Pam,I would check your research.
5:43 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Chronicles of Bob. I'm already visualizing the duct tape over your mouth. But Bob you used to be arrogant and obnoxious, now you are just the opposite you are obnoxious and arrogant. So have a nice day,but try keeping your Obama doll dry.
3:03 pm on Wednesday, December 12, 2012
No, Harry. You might want to.
9:39 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
One other thing. Odumba should keep his face off of the dam talk shows and just do his dam job he was elected for. If he want to be a star on TV , he should not run for President again and get his own reality show, called dumb and dumber !!!
9:40 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
I hate the idiot liberals that use the race card for not wanting to vote for Odumba. Get over it you morons ! I don't care if Odumba was white, pink, yellow or a zebra, I still wouldn't vote for him.
10:04 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
You go girl! I love how you take his name and change it to sound like something else... That is awesome! Did you think of that all by yourself? Beyond original. Can I use that?

This coming from the party that brings up the muslim card every chance they get.
9:53 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Mitt's life is an open book! He is not a career politician. Mitt spent most of his life in the private sector, which gives him knowledge of how our economy works. But he has also been an outstanding public servant. After graduating from Brigham Young University, he earned "dual degrees" from Harvard Law and Harvard Business School. After working as a business consultant for several years, Mitt founded the investment firm Bain Capital in 1984. Under his leadership, Bain Capital helped to launch & or rebuild 100 companies, including Staples, Dunkin' Doughnuts, and The Sports Authority. There are no gray areas about his religious preference & beliefs, where he stands on the right to life. His 2011 tax returns reflect he paid close to 2M in taxes and gave 4M to charity (basically 1/3 of his income). Mitt will never apologize or appease our enemies. Mitt believes in personal responsibility and yet will continue to help those that need government assistance> he will unite this country and instill in America that we are NOT a land of "haves and have nots".... to name a few! And most of all Mr. Romney will work hard to repeal Obamacare -- passed with the promise that it would cost zero to the public and now we KNOW we can expect to see more of our paychecks returned to the government to subsidize his free plan. Mr. Eastwood said it best: " If someone isn't doing their job then you have to let 'em go. You don’t have to IDOLIZE people in politics — they’re here to work for you."
10:02 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
You should take this act on the road... It's gold...
12:57 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
If you think Clint Eastwood "said it best" with his empty chair routine at the convention, you're opinion on anything doesn't count for much. What Mr. Eastwood did was disgraceful to imply any Presisiden is telling someone to go "F" themselves is just way out of line. The Romney campaign knows that and clearly reacted that way at the convention.
10:16 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Amen R Barna
10:21 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Romney has become richer from outsourcing jobs to other countries and avoiding paying taxes through utilizing off shore accounts. Not sure that is the guy I want running our country. Obama is definately going to fight more for the middle class which is still the backbone of this counrty!!! Obviously all people who don't like Obama aren't racist, but there is a large component of people who truly don't like him because of his race. You can see it with the geniune HATE people have when talking about him. Don't be so naive to think it's just because they don't agree with his policies!
10:26 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
You go, whatever your name is.... I agree...
10:32 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Love how you on the left think you know how the minds of us
who don't agree with Obama's policies work. Yeah, we're just downright
evil racists. Why can't people just accept the fact we don't agree with his
vision for this country.
11:14 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Vicky, he did agree... That your vision for this country is to be purified.
11:20 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
@JJN: Check to see if your college diploma is on the recall list because it's evident you know very little of how to run a business. Outsourcing of jobs? Exactly how many jobs and revenue did he outsource in order to prevent the collapse of an organization? And too, it is not against the law to have an offshore account. Just ask Harry Reid, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Al Gore or Nancy Pelosi. Second, exactly what has Obama done for the middle class the last 3.5 years? Third, when individuals resort to using "race" or finger-wag as an argument, it lessens the argument. And finally, you cannot possibly get into the minds of why the American people don't like Obama. Perhaps one could argue it's because of his inability to see that America is headed down a slippery slope of 16T in debt coupled with the President admitting that he can't "FIX WASHINGTON from the inside". Or lied about Fast/Furious and got caught, had to rewind his statement. Or admitting, "You didn't build that"? Or perhaps its because the ME is in crisis & Americans were murdered on 9/11& US soil and instead of meeting with (his) Joint Chiefs, flew to Vegas to collect campaign checks & then dine on $40K dinners with a rapper with a questionable background (something which is a common thread with Obama..think Ayers, Frank Davis) or maybe it's because he skipped a meeting with our ally, Netanhayu, to chat on Letterman's couch. Ask yourself, is this a man who embraces the title of Leader of the Free World?
12:05 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
@R Barna not sure where do I start? 1) Never said I had a business degree, but Romney what a profit guy, not a job creator so how does him being president help us? 2) Reid, Gore, Pelosi are not running for president 3) Didn't an independent panel just say Holder wasn't involved with Fast & Furious? 4) Bringing up race lessens the argument if it is not true!!!! 5) Can you read peoples minds that race is not an issue? 6) "Didn't build that" was just a sound bite......listen to whole message. He made a valid point. Unlike Romney's "47%" comment. 7) What have GOP done in 3.5 years...stonewall....how's that treating you? 8) Go Bears....gotta go it's kickoff!!!!!
10:38 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Obama is going to fight for the middle class ?? Why didn't he
start that fight for the middle class in the last almost 4 years? Obamacare taxes will destroy the middle class and the 16 trillion which will grow under Obama deficit will destroy the future for the children & grandchildren of the middle class. Those children will be the first generation I this country to not live as well as their parents.
12:14 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
To beating JJN at NFL picks...we now know where your priorities are? Football? So we are suppose to take advice from someone like you? Romney made some very successful investments (with common fiscal business sense unlike a community organizer) and he brought Boston out of bankruptcy. Obummer has put America in further debt but go watch your football because that is as far as your mentality goes. Another Odumba.
11:08 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Hey look, the Patch is liberal leaning. Isn't that shocking? The Patch is a dying business model, partly because it is driving away 50% of potential readers with this drivel. It doesn't help that Ingwersen's artistic abilities are less than impressive, unless you are a fifth grade teacher grading a student's drawings.
11:17 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
It's not driving away anyone... An idiot like you that says so, yet still takes the time to read, sign up and post is all the proof i need... What a dope!
11:37 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
@Michael: I am not sure about liberal leaning because it's been proven that the MSM and newspapers across the country are progressive/liberal thinkers. Apparently this is caused when a large portion of the population is given magic pills & drink mass amounts of Kool Aid which causes them to see butterflies and rainbows.
11:51 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
With so many fact checks available during the RNC and the fact many people question (or defend) Chuck Ingwersons statistics of who he makes fun of, I decided to do a FACT CHECK on it. Chuck has commented a couple times defending his comedy that he is fairly equal in his comedy. You may refer back to his comments by clicking on his name and comments. For the sake of room they are not included here. Anyway, with all the time on my hands I did this FACT CHECK.
In 47 cartoons of political nature, I counted the focus(s) of the cartoon. These date back to November 16, 2011. The FACT is Chuck Ingwerson made fun of the following:
1. Mitt Romney 17 times 36.2%
2. Barack Obama 9 times 19.1%
3. Newt Gingrich 6 times 12.8%
4. Herman Cain 3 times 6.4%
5. Michele Bachman 2 times 4.25%
6. Rick Santorum 2 times 4.25%
7. Donald Trump 2 times 4.25%
Honorable mention (1 time mention) is Rod Blagovich, Rush Limbaugh, Governor Quinn, Joe Biden, Paul Ryan, Sarah Palin, Clint Eastwood, and Todd Aiken. (2.1%)…..
I even have the stats on Tropical storms, BoBo the Clown, dogs, cats, Sox, Cubs fans, and more, but these were a-political stats. I would be glad to include the raw data for anyone in an EXCEL sheet should they wish to provide their email

Chronicles of Bobnia - I've been signed up to the OFO Patch long before I realized that the Patch had liberal leanings. And generally, when it comes to local issues, this liberal leaning doesn't show. This typically shows in nationwide issues.
You need to look up the financials for Patch. See what their financial losses are. See what industry experts are predicting as far as its lifespan. You'll have to do this research yourself, I won't do it for you. Look at the financials facts. Oh wait, you're a liberal, you have no idea what financial facts are, do you?
9:42 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
The finacials of patch.... who cares? Love the '" bobina" wow was that creative... shocking you logged on again before the plug is pulled. I wish geniuses like you would run the patch... we'd all know so much more... im assuming you didnt look at that breakdown of cartoon posts.... pretty even to me. I know facts and truths dont sit well with repubs... i forgive you...
12:04 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Bobnia - Please take a second look at the breakdown of comic strips. Comparing Romney to Obama (36% to 19%) is by no stretch of the imagination "pretty even". Conservatives are the target of Ingwersen's poorly conceived humor close to 70% of the time. Do those numbers seem "pretty even" to you. Of course they seem even to you, because you have a lack of understanding. I've decided to remain a Patch member as long as you are, just to point out your silliness.

2:55 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
He didn't deliver and didn't come close. If any of us preformed like that at work we would be fired. Our nation was formed on the basis that we hire and fire our public servants and we should not accept the ideal that they are our boss

Obama's shortcomings are the fault of the do-nothing Republicans in congress. He ran as a centrist and has governed as a centrist. Obama is not nearly liberal enough for my taste, but he is far an away better than Romney, a two-faced flip-flopping etch-a-sketch who will say ANYTHING to get elected. Obama's not perfect, but WAY better than the alternative. The cartoon is perfect.
6:13 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
"Obama's shortcomings are the fault of the do-nothing Republicans in congress."
Unlike Clinton and Reagan, arguably two of the most effective President's in recent history, Obama is unable or unwilling to pick up a phone and reach out to the members of congress who may not agree with him. Clinton and Reagan were master consensus builders, even among their political foes.
Obama seems to feel that it's beneath him to reach out to the opposition.
"The Great Uniter" has been a miserable failure.
6:42 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Well said southeast side!!! @Mike take off the conservative blinders! It's all Obama's fault, and none at all the GOPs???? Hilarious! Stop watching Fox News and learn to think for yourself! Obama I agree isn't perfect, but Romney is not the answer!!! I'll judge him based on his 2nd term and hopefully the GOP will vote for the country and not the party!

Harry your an idiot!!! Go back to making out with your Hannity blowup doll! Communist talk earns no respect by me!!!
0bama has totally blown it on the economy from the outset with his asinine "stimulus" payout to his rich benefactors and now has been caught continually lying about the 9/11 terrorist attacks - time for Barry to go.

"0bama has totally blown it on the economy from the outset with his asinine "stimulus" payout to his rich benefactors and now has been caught continually lying about the 9/11 terrorist attacks - time for Barry to go."
You must have Obama confused with Bush. The 9/11 terrorists attacks happened on Bush's watch and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were to help Chaney's friends at Halliburton. As for the stimulus Bush was the one who made started the 1st stimulus.
Wow, you cons are really trying to re-write history.

So sad - calling each other racists over a poorly drawn comic, political comic.
6:34 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
70 comments since this morning. Impressive. Anyway, I am not better off than I was four years ago and I don't know anyone who works for a living who is. And, while the war in Iraq may be "officially" over, there are still plenty of boots on the ground there. So, the liberal, do-nothing-except-embarrass-themselves-media can hoop that up all they want to, but a relative of mine is about to be shipped out. AND, Mitt may overdo it on the self-tanner, but I'll take that over what I'm currently getting, which is higher taxes (sales tax through the higher price of EVERYTHING, and as of January 2013 a whole host of others including capital gains and dividend taxes, as well as increased taxes and regulations on businesses who have to pass those increases on to consumers), a "leader" who can't seem to lead but instead divides his constituents, and a "leader" who doesn't believe in America's exceptionalism and bows to any other foreign leader (especially if they're Middle Eastern). Don't vote for someone because of the color of their skin. If you're only interested in growing already bloated entitlements that we can't afford, don't vote.
Heartfelt and amusing as it is, the point I read is both political parties are on thier hands and knees to become elected ,to get rich, to get multiple 200k+ a year pensions and a ceo job after they are out.... aka the IL way
8:21 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Do you really think Mitt won't raise taxes. The CBO said you can cut spending all you want but it won't fix the economy alone. Also Mitt said he would not raise taxes when he was Governor of Mass. Instead of raising taxes, Mittens increased all the prices on fees. Can you really trust this empty suit?

I've heard nothing concrete from anyone on how Romney is going to create jobs. All I hear is lowering taxes and that says nothing about how he plans on creating jobs. The same blah, blah about companies getting tax breaks to hire more means nothing. The tax breaks come and they send the work overseas. I want to see concrete proof that he is creating jobs for the american people and I've seen no proof any where on that.
Why won't he show his previous tax returns, that is going to come back to bite him the closer we get to the election. If this man wants to become POTUS then I want to know why he does or doesn't have enough faith in this country to keep his money here. The only reason I can think of for him to jump ship with the cash is to avoid paying taxes. I think he owes the people of this country the honest truth, if you're an american than you should act like one. 2 million in taxes is chump change.
$200,000 to $250,000 is not the middle class, why doesn't he understand this?
8:51 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
"I think he owes the people of this country the honest truth, if you're an American than you should act like one." You are kidding? Mr. Romney does not owe you anything. In fact if anyone owes the American people the truth it is the Pres. Con-Fraud-Man-in-Chief. The Fraud Man should release his tax returns, school records and Tony Resko involvement. Oblamer is tied to Blago, Jesse Depression Jackson Jr., Emanuel and other corruptive Chicago criminals. You are attacking a family man because he was and is successful? Stop your liberal BS because it has no merit. Mr. Romney has stated time after time he plans to lower the Corporate Tax rate so companies will start to prosper thus, businesses then will have money to hire. Mr. Romney's tax returns has been up the liberal's butts for such a long time and they have no relevance to our faltering economy. Stop finger pointing and look in your own backyard with your failed Leader, Oblamer(Barry Sotero).
9:29 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
Prosper? You areto kidding right? Corporations have profits at all time highs.... they have cash reserves in the trillions.... you are absolutely clueless.... though you are awesome at the nicknames ... can you spin mine... that would be awesome and you would totally redeem yourself.
10:12 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
G. Ryan typical non-answer. I have always voted Republican but find this candidate to be the wrong choice and I'm not alone. I also never once commented with my above statement on Obama, that was your doing as I'm not happy with him either. I agree that both candidates should release all information but Romney's complete avoidance of this is not helping the party one bit. His own campaign people are leaving him, what does that say about him.
Attacking a family man, now that's calling the kettle black. His recent comments about the 47% was a cheap shot at all the disabled people in this country. Having a disabled nephew ( who receives help) I find his comment to be disgusting.
Lowering the corporate tax rate doesn't mean diddly squat. Yes they might hire more but it doesn't mean the jobs will be here and I know that all to well.
You had a chance at answering some questions that many are asking but you chose to attack me. And yes he does owe the american people the truth, they both do!
9:03 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
0bama can't get it done - time for Barry to pack his bags and head for retirement in Hawaii where he can spend his time playing all the golf he wants and counting his money while smoking two packs a day.
9:53 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
To Non-Chrono-Logical of Babylon..you wish you knew what you were talking about. Corporation profits are not at an all time high. American Airlines is laying off and numerous others have in the past 4 years of the Obuzzard's economy. No one wants to hire in the Obummer climate. Lowering the tax rate also assists small businesses and business in general. And the only trillions is the national debt which is climbing to 26 TRILLION IN OBLAMER DOLLARS.
7:59 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
G. Ryan, the national debt is at 16 trilliion, not 26 and how much of that can be attributed to the Iraq War? And yes, corporate profits are extremely high and they are sitting on piles of money, refusing to invest, hire or move forward. Why, that's open for debate I guess. Probably hoping to get one of their own in the White Hous in order to further increase profits even further.
If that were to happen, you won't benefit from it and neither will most Americans, since most are not "middle class" earning $250,000 a year. Based on your lack of intelligence and uneducated name calling, it's safe to assume you're not in Romney's middle class.
Before you come back with the typical liberal bashing nonsense, consider I have never voted for a Democratic candidate for President. And while I'm not entirley happy with President Obama, (that is his name and title by the way), I don't believe Mitt Romney is the answer and he solidified that thought with his comments at the Boca Raton fundraiser.
8:26 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
G.Ryan. You better do some more research. If you think the deficit will climb under Obama here is what Mitten's plan will do to the deficit:
The deficit would skyrocket under Mitten's plan. The truth hurts doesn't it.
10:01 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
@ Stones. The 2016 movie is taken from Obummer's book, "Dreams of my Father" so where is the bias in that? I mentioned the debt in this decade will reach 26 trillion. The Budget needs to be balanced otherwise we will become like Greece. It is just a matter of time. So keep voting for the spender Con-Man-in-Chief. This nation does not have money for ObummerCare.

It is clear you have made your mind up and chose to support a failed administration thus there is no sense in discussing your concerns .... er talking points.
10:22 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
G ryan... are you seriously this dumb or just so full of hate you are blinded. Yes, us corporations profits have hit records... yes they sit on trillions and fail to reinvest... yes the economy and jobs have improved for three straight years... yes the us deficit is huge... yes obama policies are only responsible for 10 pct of it... the obama govt is the smallest in 50 years ... please use facts when you argue... though your twist on names continues to impress me... you should write a book.
10:31 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
My only guess is that realizing the truth would be a shock to your belief system...
10:35 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
@ Walt. Where have you been? Mr. Romney released his tax returns days ago. Also, when he made the comment about the 47% he stated that is the number who are not paying taxes and are living off the government entitlements. Since Oblamer has been in office FOOD STAMPS have doubled, SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY has doubled along with UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION. IS this the way to lead a country? When Oblamer ran his campaign in 2008 he mentioned HOPE and CHANGE...well, guess what we were never a hopeless nation. But the Obummer parade does not want to work or pay taxes. This is the truth about Romney's statement. No candidate is going to be perfect as they don't exist within the human condition. But I met him and his wife and they are genuine people. Also, he wants the job. I wouldn't want that job as look at the scrutiny you are under..you have no privacy. Mr. Romney does not need this job but he loves America and his family. I can tell you this he does have integrity. I cannot say that about Oblamer. You had asked the question and I gave you an answer. As far as him attacking his staff. I can say this you may not understand the long hours you put in campaigning. It is not easy. But his pick of Paul Ryan was the correct choice. Stop looking at the petty issues like tax returns and his 47% comment(which is the truth.) and look at the bigger pictures and issues. And realize how bad it has become under Oblamer's ruling and it will only get worse if he is reelected.
11:34 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
My nephew receives disability so according to your comment Romney was speaking about him. While he might not pay income tax he does pay sales, property and any other tax the rest of us pay. He's also a register voter and the recent comments effects the entire community of disabled people. When my wife passed and I lost my job we went from a 2 income family to no income and I was on food stamps for a short time. I now have 3 jobs to keep the roof over my head and food on the table for my girls. I'm also also paying off a medical bill from 6yrs ago so his snide comments were out of line. He has no idea what the middle class is or what they are going through with remarks like that.
You have to realize that there are many independents out there who are viewing him in an unfavorable way after his latest fiasco. If he meant the 47% comment in a different text he needs to work on his lingo as the hole he's digging for himself is only getting bigger.
The petty issue of tax returns is going to be his biggest problem in the months to come. I've seen it before and I know it's coming, they're going to dig something up on this and shoot it out at crunch time.
I would still like to hear the answer on job creation in this country but I see that's not going to happen. As far as the 47% I received help for a short time so I guess he was speaking ill of me. Now he wants my vote.
1:02 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
@G.Ryan: The voluminous return Romney released on Friday (news-dump day) were for 2011. That makes a total of two (count them, 2!) years of returns now. The reveal that he had to elect not to deduct about $1.8 Million of his charitable donations so that he wouldn't violate his earlier statement that he had paid 13-14% of his income in federal income taxes. Any bets on whether he will file an amended return shortly after losing the presidential election in order to claim the additional deduction and get a refund of his overpaid taxes? Just because his spokesman said he wouldn't do that isn't good enough for me. He isn't known as a liar/flip-flopper for nothing. I even expect him to file the amended return if he does win, though he probably will wait a while until he's pretty sure there won't be anyone watching or caring about it.
10:11 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
"I can tell you this he does have integrity."
Romney is an empty suit elitist who doesn't care about the middle class. He has flipped flopped on a number of issues. Look at what he did as governor as Mass. This is the Romney you will be getting.
11:56 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2012
I am sorry to hear of your situation Mr. Hines. And I will definitely say a prayer for you and your family. I do not mean any ill harm. But please if Mr. Romney affected you in a personal way, I am sorry you feel this way. I do think he was referring to the government entitlements. I lost 60% of my salary and I am working part-time. We all have our crosses to bear in life, I know. I understand your position with wanting to not vote for him but please outweigh the pros and cons of each candidate. If you don't like Mr. Romney you can also look at his running mate and perhaps that may appeal to you. I feel at this time, America as a whole is going down the wrong road and in this election it is the economy and my liberty and freedom from tyranny which is important. So tax returns and his comment about the dependency Oblamer has increased are not issues that I am selecting in this election. My biggest concern is my love for my country and I really believe if he is reelected this country will get worse. Please go see the movie, 2016 and wait for the debates and see how you feel then. Keep in touch. God Bless.
8:08 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
The 2016 movie? Do you honestly think that isn't biased?
8:30 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
GRyan... You have a reading and comprehension problem... When he stated the 47%, he said a lot more than those are just the people on entitlements... Dude, seriously, reality is two blocks to the left... You may want to arrive there...
9:56 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
@ Lou Pierce. Like Oblamer is not a liar Con-Man flip flopper? He hangs with the best of Chgo criminals Blago, Rezko, and Emanuel. And tell me Mr. Liberal Liar what correlation does releasing tax returns have in governing and leading a country? I did not see any prerequisite for this to become a US president and that seems to be your liberal game. You as usual have no cause for your silly comments. Where's Oblamer's tax returns, school records and real birth certificate? I am glad Mr. Romney has a back bone to call out you slugs who want to live off the system. Filing an amended tax return are you for real? Get with the real issues which face our nation like DEBT which will reach 26 trillion this decade....We have no money for ObummerCare...get real Liberals. You are all dead weights. I cannot wait for the debates when Ryan kicks Brainless Biden out of the ring!
10:14 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
G. Ryan, you state you don't see releasing tax returns as a prerequistite for becoming President, yet you want to see President Obama's (once again, his name and title) school records. When did they become a prerequisite?
As far as President Obama's birth certificate, that ship has sailed. It has not only been realeased, it has been certified by the Secretary of State of Hawaii. That makes it pretty official, right? I'm sure you won't believe that because it's only a state SOS, clearly part of the great conspiracy started 50 years ago to plant a muslim, socialist in the White House. Yet it was OK when the Florida SOS certified the elction results in President Bush's favor.
BTW, Florida got it right. You unfortunately don't have a clue. But it's hard when you're blinded by hatred, rage and misinformation.
10:16 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
GRyan you are to funny. You say tax returns are not important, but then you call for Obam to release his birth certificate - his real one at that. You are just another birther making up issues that already have been settled by the USSC.
You talk about issues like the national debt. Well paying taxes/not paying taxes is part of what has led to the national debt. You complain people are not paying their share of taxes. So what do you expect those that no little or no income to pay. You rip on these people while 4000 millionaires paid no taxes.
Meanwhile Romney's economic plan will actually cause the national debt to skyrocket.

Every church that doesn't pay taxes is a deadbeat.
Oh, were you trying to refer to another 'group' of people?
How much in taxes do you expect the poor to pay?
G.Ryan, did you hear the rich complaining when their tax rates used to be 50% or 70%
But there is also no question that their tax rates have fallen more than any other group’s over the last three decades. The only reason they are paying more taxes than in the past is that their pretax incomes have risen so rapidly — which hardly seems a great rationale for a further tax cut.
G.Ryan, why don't you complain about the 4,000 millionaires that have paid no taxes.
10:26 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
@ Stones. Bringing up Bush is so old news. Get over yourself. You did not answer the question. That is how you Liberals are. What correlation does Mitt Romney's tax returns have to do with governing and leading a nation? Don't answer a question with a question. You can continue to talk nonsense but I will not vote for Odumba. He is nothing but an empty community organizier suit who needs to go back to Kenya. So he can go back to smoking his dope! Now he is a deadbeat!
10:43 am on Monday, September 24, 2012

The Fed Gov, or State/Local gov for that matter, CANNOT give anything to anybody that it does NOT - with the threat of imprisonment - take from somebody else. As a small business owner, I can tell you that high/higher taxes do NOT stimulate me to invest more to expand my business, hire additional employees, or provide better benefits/higher wages to my existing employees. Just the opposite is true. I understand the need to “help” those less fortunate – I contribute to various charities. If you/others feel such a morale obligation to give more to the less fortunate (less motivated) by all means feel free to donate more of YOUR own money – don’t take mine! If you believe taxes for those in your tax bracket should be higher – donate! ANY Fed Gov spending outside of the 18 enumerated powers outlined in the Constitution is not only WRONG and unconstitutional, it is theft and slavery. It makes individuals a slave to the Fed government.
Everybody has Rights. The Right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. You do NOT have the Right to somebody else paying for your Food, Housing, Clothing, Shoes, Cell phone, TV, etc. !
And NO you do NOT have the Right to Health Care! If you believe you have the Right to health care you would have to believe that you have the RIGHT to make a doctor/nurse/pharm. company to GIVE you their services for free! Making somebody work for you for free is SLAVERY! Taking something from someone without their permission is Stealing!

So Obama is no perfect. You cons never complained about all the mistakes Bush made while in office. I think his biggest mistake was ignoring the daily brief that said "Al Qaida determined to strike in US"
9:28 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Four big reasons I wouldn't vote for Odumba! He's a supporter of abortion(murder) , selective abortion, same sex marriage , and the dream act!! So Odumba can not say he's a Christian!!
And let's look at Mitten's view on abortion, it changes depending on who he is pandering for votes.
"Romney proclaimed himself a strong supporter of abortion rights both in 1994, when he ran unsuccessfully for Senate against incumbent Democrat Edward Kennedy, and in 2002, when he defeated Democrat Shannon O'Brien to become governor.
"I will preserve and protect a woman's right to choose," he said in a 2002 debate with O'Brien. "And I do take exception to Shannon characterizing my view as being any different than hers in this regard; The Boston Globe recently reported there's not a paper's width worth of difference between our two positions in this regard."
But that changed halfway though Romney's term as governor. He says his conversion came after he talked to a Harvard scientist about embryonic stem cells. Now, he says his position is to oppose almost all abortions."
Mitt supports the death penalty in certain circumstances so he is also a supporter of murder. Mitten's is certainly no Christian either
Logansdad.... but that wouldn't fit into vera's argument... so that never was the main stream media making stff up...
I guess ending wars, helping the poor, helping the veterans and expanding civil rights isn't "christian" enough...

What correlation does tax returns have in governing and leading the U.S. at the level of commander and chief?
10:59 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Thanks, Harry. Dope Head Oblamer is a huge Anti-American. And those who chose to vote for him are of his following..Anti-Americans. He ignores our Constitution. All that dope he smoked with his chain gang has affected cognitive abilities as he has none.
12:17 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
G. Ryan, once again you're incorrect. Mitt's Dad, George W. Romney did run for president in 1968, losing in the primary to Richard Nixon mostly due to making a stupid comment as the front runner. Overall seeming to be a good guy but a bit off on the campaign trail. But don't believe me, I'm just a liberal right? My voting record would tell you otherwise though.
I know this is only from Wikepedia but read below, maybe do a little research before you hit the keyboard, revealing you ignorance of any facts.
Romney was a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in 1968. While initially a front-runner, he proved an ineffective campaigner, and fell behind Richard Nixon in polls. Following a mid-1967 remark on The Lou Gordon Program that his earlier support for the Vietnam War had been due to a "brainwashing" by U.S. military and diplomatic officials in Vietnam, his campaign faltered even more, and he withdrew from the contest in early 1968. Once elected president, Nixon appointed Romney Secretary of Housing and Urban Development. Romney's ambitious plans for housing production increases for the poor, and for open housing to desegregate suburbs, were modestly successful but often thwarted by Nixon.

@ Stones....he ran in a primary not the general election come on use common sense and compare apples to apples. Stop the liberal verbage. Please give me the correlation on how producing income tax returns corresponds to leading and governing as a US President.
12:57 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
"@ Stones....he ran in a primary not the general election come on use common sense and compare apples to apples."
So let's compare apples to apples George Ryan. How many years of tax returns did Mitt's dad release when we ran in the primaries to be president versus the number of years of tax returns Mitten's released while he was a presidential candidate. Romey's dad released 12 years worth of tax returns as a presidential candidate. Mitten's: ZERO
3:15 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
G. Ryan, running in the primary is running for President. With you logic, Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich didn't run for President? Did you vote in the primary? If so, you might understand this. It's a good thing Vera came along, otherwise you would be the biggest fool on this thread.
The correlation to Mitt Romney's tax returns and his running for president is, I would like to know if and what money he is hiding overseas or anywhere else to avoid paying taxes. That 47% makes up a lot of people who need his support.
Glad to know I'm still a liberal, even though as I stated previously that i have never voted for a Democratic presidential candidate, that would be 8 elections so far. And I'm a liberal? The reason President Obama will be re-elected is because knuckleheads like you are pushing rational, right leaning moderates like myself to vote the other way. Behavior like yours combined with the 47% commentary are pushing President Obama (yes, still his name and proper title) well over 300 electoral college votes. Enjoy the next four years, fool!
10:52 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Do the liberals realize how stupid they sound when they say Romney is a flip flopper! How soon they forget when Odumba was a State Senator! He was against abortion, same sex marriage and wanted immigration enforcement. Now when the votes are more important he says he's for abortion, same sex marriage and the stupid dream act. What an idiot.
vera volpi salami :"I wouldn't vote for Odumba! He's a supporter of abortion(murder)"
But yet Romney is in favor of capital punishment (death penalty) in some circumstances. So that means Romney favors murder.
Does that mean you will not vote for Romney?
As far as the dream act, I'd rather see illegals get a path toward citizenship than Romney's plan of building a wall. Where does Romney think he will get the money to build a fence.
BTW, Obama has deported more illegals than Bush did. In fact deportations have doubled under Obama so he has not flipped flopped on immigration enforcement.
11:17 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
I believe in execution only for murders and treason and the drug cartel. I also support building a bigger wall and electrify it to keep out the immigrants. At least with a murderer that faces an execution , they can appeal or get clemency, where an unborn child doesn't have a choice.
11:30 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Christians believe murder is murder, so any type of killing is wrong.
You cons only care about "children" when they are in the womb. After they are born, you could care less about them. How many children that would have otherwise been aborted have you volunteered to raise and care for?
11:38 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Same old dumb a:: liberal talk Logansdad. The Catholic charities did and does take the unwanted babies, but due to the other idiot Gov.Quinn Catholic charities had to close their doors. Abortion sucks and is a violent killing when the baby is sucked out of the women's womb and torn apart with forceps!! That's real Christian of women that have that done.
11:44 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Sorry, but I don't much care what an organization that thinks child rape is acceptable thinks.
How poisonous is religion? You can sit there with a straight face, and tell the world how caring to children this same organization is.
Keep your fairy tales out of everyone else's life.
11:48 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
You just proved my point. You people claim to be pro-life, but then can't make that claim when it comes to the death penalty. Killing is wrong - all forms including the death penalty. You really aren't pro life at all - just anti-abortion. What part of THOU SHALL NOT KILL don't you understand. There isn't an asterik next to kill.
And as for caring about the children, you really don't. It appears your answer to abortion is to have the child and then put it in foster care and hope it gets adopted. Let someone else take care of that child that YOU DIDN'T WANT KILLED.
You cons believe in less government but then want government to dictate what women can and can't do with their bodies and who people should and should not be able to love. So which is it, less government or more government?
11:49 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
The only fairy tale is you Tim. Nothing better than an atheist like you! How sweet!! 97% of abortions are done for convenience!
12:07 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Are you going to just ignore the fact that they are an organization that promotes child rape?
According to catholics, its OK if the kid is14 or over.
Get that? A priest who molests a 14yr old boy, is doing nothing wrong under church canon law.
Every dollar you give them, does to support that. So yes, in no way at all do I want them getting any tax money for their 'services'. I don't care how many 'good things' you say they do, the fact that they promote child rape negates them all, and then some.
12:38 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Tim read the cannon law and no where does it say it's not a wrong doing by a priest molesting a child! Yes they deserve prison! I'll still donate a great amount of money to my Church and faith! Yes there are pedophile Priest that fall throw the cracks, but it's far less than what's already out there molesting children!
12:58 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Last time I checked, canon law is not the rule of the land. State law is rule of the land and state law says that having sex with a minor (14 years old) is illegal.
1:12 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
I understand that you have to ignore reality, in order to continue your beliefs. Most people have a hard enough changing their habits, much less a part of what they think makes them who they are.
But the reality, is that the church not only protects this activity, their internal laws have no punishment for it;
"because his alleged relationship with a teenager in the 1970s did not meet the criteria of a crime under church law at that time, according to the Joliet Diocese."
You go right on ahead and think its 'no big deal', but the rest of the world is slowly waking up to the fact that they want nothing to do with an organization that not only allows this to go on, but actively protects those it knows are committing these crimes. Church attendance has been steadily declining for decades, the younger generation wants nothing to do with your fairy tales and hypocritical morality. It would explain why you fit right into the description of what is left; an 'aging sea of gray hair, with few if any younger people'.
On the flipside, the survey showed the number of people identifying themselves under the "no religion category" increased by 14 percent across the state.
The sooner you face the reality of what your 'group' is really all about, the better off we will all be.
8:04 pm on Sunday, September 30, 2012
I believe you are either mistaken or lying about the Catholic Church, Tim. I can offer multiple texts that counter what you say. Can you offer a text that supports what you say?
8:08 pm on Sunday, September 30, 2012
Oh...and by the way...per capita, pedophilia is less among Catholic Priests than it is in the general public. Therefore, your children are actually safer with a Catholic Priest, percentage wise, than they are with any other group of people...and that includes liberal democrats!
11:53 am on Monday, September 24, 2012
Clear out death row with the executions as they cost 60,000.00 a year to take care of. Far more than a child in foster care.
12:01 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
And if you put all those on death row in a regular prison the cost is ony around $3500 a year which is still far less than the cost of raising a child.
12:37 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
If it only cost $3500 a year for a "regular prison" that would be great.
The currant average cost is closer to $20,000 a year. There are some variables but on average, it works out to about 6 times as much as you think.
1:04 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
I stand corrected. The cost I quoted was just for housing. Half of the cost you quoted is for health care.
Prisoners get better health care than some people in this country.
Vera who you crapping? The wars the GOP love so much are responsible for the killing of how many people? They're not exactly hurling water balloons over there!! There is damage to bodies just as if not more gruesome as you so nicely described! Try thinking about quality of life and not just quantity!
If Odumba is re elected, I guarantee that he will put us in war with either Iran or someone else that is a threat to the U.S.
12:36 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
You think Obama wants to be Iran more than GOP/Romney? Obama can't get out of the wars now fast enough!!! Obama is being judged on the deficit, what do you think another war would do to the deficit?
1:08 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Vera you better do your research on Mitt and Iran. Based on what he has said, it would appear Mitt is willing to go to war with Iran. Mitt will be like Bush all over again - a war president.
Mitt will increase military spending
It cost 50,0000 a year for a scum bag in prison alone! I'd rather see my tax dollars pay 35,000-40,000 a year for a child in foster fare, than a piece of s--t in prison!!
12:11 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Who are we to choose Sister Christian?
12:16 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Who to choose? Murderers , treason and convicted drug cartels!
12:14 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Here's a good example for executions that are warranted!
“The additional cost of confining an inmate to death row, as compared to the maximum security prisons where those sentenced to life without possibility of parole ordinarily serve their sentences, is $90,000 per year per inmate. With California’s current death row population of 670, that accounts for $63.3 million annually.”
1:10 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
That is why I advocate getting rid of the death penalty, it costs to much because of all the appeals and court hearings.
12:41 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Hey, I have an idea. Lets get Mitt in the White House and return to the GOP policies that got the good ol' USA in a heap of trouble. BWAAAAAAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Juuuuuuuust kidding....Obama is crushing Mitt. His second term is going to be fantastic!
1:03 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Yes, you Liberals make up your own poll numbers....we will crush you communists in the debates because Oblamer will need his teleprompter to answer them. And Biden is Brainless.
1:51 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Hey G.Ryan, all that time you're spending locked up is affecting your sense of reality. Better ask the prison doc for a check up.
12:44 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Let's see how many more trillions Odumba will spend if he gets another 4 years. God bless us all.
12:48 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
As of right now I am leaning toward Mitt. However, I did get a chuckle from the cartoon.
12:53 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Thanks, Brian you are a man of integrity. Mitt and Ryan are a great team to bring this Nation back from the Socialist Dicator.
But I do wish the author would of listed the other top 9 with his liberal anguish.

1:02 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012

1:09 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
At least Mitt is handsome! What's Odumbas excuse.
1:14 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Vera likes her men old and crothety. She probably thinks Clint Eastwood is hot.
1:17 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Clint is looking good at 82! Way better looking than Odumba!
1:24 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Do worry vera when Obamacare goes into full effect you can get your eyes checked out? But if you have trouble seeing in the mean time, take the advice of Mittens and go to the emergency room.
@ G.Ryan you mean a socialist muslim dictator!!! Wouldn't it be funny if Jessie Jackson Jr goes down for the attempted sale of Odumbas Senate seat and it turns out Odumba had a hand in the fiasco!!
Why the big dumbo ears Odumba, fly away with them already!
1:05 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Did anyone ever see Odumba speak without a telepromter! Duhh duh ahh ehh ! What am I saying!
It was all that DOPE he was smoking in his early years he has no brain cells left. The socialist will be out come November...he will be GONE and then I don't need to see his ugly mug and listen to his preaching and his pointing of his finger during a speech with his teleprompter.
The Last 4 letters in America is I can.
The Last 4 letters in Republican is I can.
The last 4 lwtters in Democrats is RATS.
NOVEMBER is to be set as the ideal RODENT REMOVAL MONTH.....get out and vote the DEMOC-rats out!

He will be lost in Teleprompter space? Wow, maybe he will smoke his DOPE beforehand with his Chain gang and his criminal hacks Jesse Depressive Jackson Jr, Blago, Tony Resko and the Emanuel. Oblamer is nothing but a LOSER!
1:35 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
"liberals don't know how to correlate"

AP Reports Imaginary Crowd as 'Largest Yet of the Obama Campaign'
The mainstream media is faking every number it can get away with to save President Barack Obama.
1:39 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
What's up with all the Republicans believing in imaginary things.
Vera believes in reports about imaginary crowds. It still doesnt beat Clint Eastwood talking to a chair - oh excuse me, an imaginary Obama.
Vera do you think if Mittens ever gets elected, he will be sworn in using an imaginary bible?
6:40 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
You worry about reps believing in "imaginary" things.
You still believe in "Hope and Change", talk about imaginary!
1:28 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
The cartoon is nothing to riot over, but it's about as ridiculous, with one possible qualification: the cartoon suggests an attack on a person rather than policies. Sometimes people argue "ad hominem," against the person; but this is sometimes at least understandable, but coming out against a man because he is named so and so is a new one; call it "argument ad nominum": argument against someone because of their name.
1:34 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Gryan... can you back to putting a spin on peoples names again... Those posts were awesome! thanks
1:52 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
You sure are full of yourself Mr. Wizard of Odd.
1:49 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Are you seriously this stupid, or is it just a game... Slicing the last 4 letters off a word has nothing to do with correlation...
A proper way to use it would be... Cats are stupid animals... GRyan is a stupid republican who likes cats... There is a correlation between Stupid cats and Republicans named G-Cat-Ryan who likes cats...
Did ya see that... I spun your name...G-Cat-Ryan... That's actually you.... look at me... explaining to the grand Wizard about spinning names...
What a great leader!
When informed of the terrorist attack on our embassy, which resulted in the first death of an ambassador since Jimmy Carter was in office, what did our Commander in Chief do?
He went back to bed.
Well, he was probably tired and needed his rest to announce what his response to this attack against America would be. His response??? Apologize to the terrorists and go to Vegas for a fundraiser. That'll teach 'em.
Then, he would tell Israel's Prime Minister that he does not have the time to meet with him but he has plenty of time to be on Letterman's show? I guess he has his priorities. Too bad the United States is not one of them.
1:56 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
What a great leader!
When informed of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, which resulted in the worst attack on American soil what did our Commander in Chief do?
He went back to reading "My Pet Goat" to a bunch of school children.
2:03 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
I agree. This type of behavior confirms he is an Anti-American and an incompetent leader. He lacks the intrinsic problem solving skills a President should deem as priority. Perhaps his teleprompter went missing. He has been on his own campaign run for the past 4 years now since he took office.
2:08 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
George are you kidding me, right?
I suggest you do some research about what took place on 9/11/01. You might learn that what I posted was actually done by Dubya aka the Shrub.
Nice to know you agree Bush was anti-American and an incompetent leader and lacked the instrinsic problem solving skills a president should have.
2:10 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
logansdad...you don't understand the protocol in that situation. The President is to stay put as told by security. And why are you bringing up Bush when that happened back 11 years ago? When your incompetent President has been on a campaign run for the past 4 years on his TV shows the View, Letterman, Leno and throwing Hollyweird parties at the White House. He is an embarassment to our country.
2:14 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Sorry George, you can't save yourself with that response. You thought it referred to Obama. It only goes to show your lack of intelligence.
2:16 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
No, wrong again Logansdad...Oblamer is an incompetent leader, Anti-American who has been on a campaign run for the past 4 years. President Bush is not the subject matter here but I know you Liberals are obessed with him.
2:26 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
So just keep poking the cage of people just looking for a reason to riot??? That's brilliant! I hope the police have you on speed dial as a negotiator!!!!
2:49 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
@Logansdad...Last time I checked, Bush is not running for president. At least Bush did not apologize to the people responsible for the attack.
@Beating JJN at NFL Picks...I'm sure glad those terrorist don't have to worry about our ambassador "poking" their cages anymore, but, by all accounts, he didn't "poke" any cages and in fact was a highly respected man that only wanted to help.
He was killed for it and the man sworn to protect our country against all enemies, foreign and domestic, apologized and went to bed.
If you think that type of response is the way to go, I wonder how you would feel if somebody you loved was murdered and the police apologized to the murderer?
3:01 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Wait, WHO apologized to bin Laden and al queda? When? Details, please.
3:04 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
"Last time I checked, Bush is not running for president"
Thank God for that. Two horrible terms was enough.
"At least Bush did not apologize to the people responsible for the attack."
Bush couldnt apologize for anything if his life depended upon it. He couldn't even aoplogize to the American citizens for not doing enough to protect this country.
"If you think that type of response is the way to go, I wonder how you would feel if somebody you loved was murdered and the police apologized to the murderer?"
How is that any different than past presidents sending troops into war for the wrong reasons and then having them killed? How about a president who sends troops into battle and then uses the death of one of them as a PR campaign (or is it champaign) and can't even apologize to the family when the truth is revealed about their death?
I'd rather a President that doesn't rush into quick action and thinks about things before he actually does them, unlike some past presidents and one presidential candidate.
3:30 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
I am assuming that "past presidents sending troops into was for the wrong reasons and then having them killed" is another shot at Bush. Don't forget that both Reps and Dems voted to send those troops to war. In fact, Senator Obama (along with almost every other Dem) voted several times to continue funding for the war when he was not too busy planning his presidential run.
I agree that you should take your time and not rush to respond, but Obama sure was quick with an apology. Maybe he should have thought some more on that.
WAIT....he did give a lot of thought to that...in his book "The Audacity of Hope", our commander in chief said, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction". I think this may explain his response.
3:31 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Maybe the Republicans can have Ann Romney talk to the terrorists: She is great at telling others to leave people alone.
""Stop it," she said in an interview. "This is hard. You want to try it? Get in the ring. This is hard and, you know, it's an important thing that we're doing right now, and it's an important election"."
Mittens can have Ann be her Secretary of State. Ann to Iran: Leave the United States alone and quit bullying other countries.
Ann to the Muslims as she points here finger at them: Quit your fighting or I am going to give you a time out. You are supposed to be a peaceful people. So what if people make fun of your religion, stop being the savages I know you are. You better stop soon or my husband will send his military after you.
3:36 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
@Tired If the rest of my family was still in danger, I wouldn't care what tactic they used!!! Apologize, buy them hookers....etc, just do whatever needs to be done, popular or not to minimize the casualities!!!!
3:39 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
"I agree that you should take your time and not rush to respond, but Obama sure was quick with an apology. Maybe he should have thought some more on that."
So I guess MItten's quick response was more up your alley?
Vera you really hit an all time low! Picking on someone's wife is a low blow. Whether or not you find her attractive it takes balls to pick on someone's appearance. Of all the comments made on here it took a woman to start on someone's wife, very attractive for a lady.
Why are Muslims such a threat to you? You could very well be living among them and don't even know it. Not everyone wears traditional garb or looks the part.
There needs to be straight tax across the board, every american pays the same. I find the upper crust would fight this tooth and nail. This might help with the tax dodging on both sides.
1:57 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
I agree Walt. The tax codes need to be fair across the board so everyone will pay their fair share. I thought Paul Ryan was in favor of this.
2:07 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
G Ryan, Paul Ryan is not in favor of this. Ron Paul was the only one who wanted to bring this on board.
2:18 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Thanks, Walt but I know Paul Ryan has mentioned the tax code but perhaps not specifically the flat tax remedy.

“And you can’t find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem.” - Mitt Romney
Maybe Romney can ask the servants on his jet to open the windows the next time he flies so he can get some oxygen inside the aircraft.
This place reminds me of the good old days on the Yahoo newsboards.

How Ironic. Just released by the AP 90 mins ago...
DENVER (AP) — Republican election officials who promised to root out voter fraud so far are finding little evidence of a widespread problem.
State officials in key presidential battleground states have found only a tiny fraction of the illegal voters they initially suspected existed. Searches in Colorado and Florida have yielded numbers that amount to less than one-tenth of 1 percent of all registered voters in either state.
Last year, Gessler estimated that 11,805 noncitizens were on the rolls.
But the number kept getting smaller.
After his office sent letters to 3,903 registered voters questioning their status, the number of noncitizens now stands at 141, based on checks using a federal immigration database. Of those 141, Gessler said 35 have voted in the past. The 141 are .004 percent of the state's nearly 3.5 million voters.
Even those numbers could be fewer.
Believe all the fairy tale news you want Bob.
It seems like you do with your previous post about imaginary crowds.
bushCo years + teaparty = destruction of GOP. I say, good riddance.
2:17 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Dam (Damn) Vera, I'm really questioning your gender at this point. Mrs. Romney has M.S. and that causes havoc on ones body. I can only imagine the remarks that would spew from one's mouth.
Walt, my friend has M.S. also and they do live productive lives. I am a nurse. Ms. Romney is also a breast cancer survivor.
3:00 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
G. Ryan my mother-in-law had M.S and it did horrible things to her. All the meds she was on ( betaseron) took their toll. Absolutely stunning woman who died bald and crippled, just horrible.
That's one thing I have in common with the Romney's, my wife also passed from breast cancer. Her's spread to her kidneys and bones. They tried for a transplant but it never happened. My wife meant everything to me and I just find it in poor taste to stoop to the level of belittling someone's appearance. We're born the way the good Lord wanted us to be, unless of course the Doc steps in.
These posts have become nothing more than playground antics. Instead of discussing the issues in an adult manner we've hit the playground nonsense. Now's the time to bring up real issues and answers to help the undecided and this is one venue that can give no reliable information.
Yes Paul Ryan was for tax reform but not the straight tax.
I am sorry to hear of your wife's suffering. As a nurse I have seen alot of this. Your wife was called home to the Lord for some purpose we will never know or understand. We can just have faith we will see them again. I lost my brother who was 27 yrs old from an auto accident and it changed me.I learned with his passing, life is short and time is of the essence. Ms. Romney is a pillar of strength as I met them when they won the primary in Schaumburg. She is very well spoken and strong. I agree we need to stick to the issues. I love my country and I know in my heart, Mr. Romney wants the job. He is not perfect but noone is. But Oblamer does not seem to be interested as our President. I feel my freedom and liberties are being slowly taken from us.
3:24 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
I bet Georgie can't even name the freedoms and liberties that he believes is being taken away.
2:23 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012

So Gryan can change Obama to Odumbas, but I can't change MS to BS??? Got it....now I know the rules! You two seriously crack me up! Dumb and dumber sticking up for the rich nonblack folk! Keep up the good work!!!
I'll keep it up as long as you keep sticking up for the rich half black.
If you want to talk smack about the Sox, come back in October and we can talk about how great the Sox and Cubs are doing in the play-offs. Sorry, I forgot, the Cubs were out of contention in May.
wow this is the first time on here, and impressed with how many people agree that the Race card needs to stop
Great, please relay that notion to Ann Coulter too.
I just stated Logansdaddy that Mr. Bush did not campaign during the first 4 years of his Presidency like President Oblamer. Obummer is an Anti-American so go ahead keep living in denial.
3:08 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
The accumulated knowledge of the GOP trolls on this board wouldnt get a kid out of grade school. Pathetic and yet, funny.
3:11 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
What do you expect when they didn't graduate HS and listen to Faux News all day long?
3:41 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Helllllooooooooo.......still waiting on details surrounding President Obama's supposed apology to bin Laden and al-queda......c'mon son, make with the goods.
3:46 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Obama had Seal Team 6 deliver it, right before Bin Laden got it between the eyes.
4:22 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
heh! Very good Logansdad, how true. Thats an "apology" the GOP wish hadnt happened. They must be quite embarrassed especially after letting bin Laden go at Tora Bora.
6:25 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
If Obama gets credit for bin laden, he also gets credit for Agent Brian Terry and Ambassador Chris Stevens.
Talk about an embarrassment.
6:37 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Rrrrrrrrrright because you say so? He didn't order Terry and Stevens killed! That kind of changes the situations just a little bit. Keep trying though, so I can keep laughing at your consistent lack of logic!!! I'm actually getting used to it.
4:27 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
One more reason Odumba can get F'd!!!
This is a super forward that lays out some of the consequences of
Obama care if it goes forward in 2013 as it will if he is reelected.
There is truth in the words that for everything we do there are
unintended consequences. Perhaps we should look carefully at the
choices some may make and see if these are truly wanted consequences.
The oldest Christian religion in the world.

Today, one out of five people in this country receive their medical care at
a Catholic hospital. In the year 33 there were no schools. Today, the
Catholic Church teaches 3 million students a day, in its more than 250
Catholic Colleges and Universities, in its more than 1200 Catholic High
Schools and its more than
5000 Catholic grade schools.
Every day, the Catholic Church feeds, clothes, shelters and educates more
people than any other organization in the world.
The new Obama Health Mandate could end all this and the tax payers would
have to make up the loss.
4:33 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Don't forget that Obamacare will lead to death panels and having all old people be put to death at 75.
You are wrong, the US is not a Christian Nation.

Including all Catholic adoption services would come to an end. A human
There are more than 77 million Catholics in this country. It takes an
estimated 50 million Catholic votes to elect a president. I am asking all of
you to go to the polls and be united in replacing our present president with
a president that will respect the Catholic Church, all Christians, all
Religions besides Islam .
Mr President, you said, "The USA is not a Christian Nation".
You are wrong we are a Christian Nation founded on Judeo-Christian values
allowing all religions in America to Worship & Practice Freely.
I urge you to pass this on to all of your friends! Thank you !
5:00 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Vera, you claim being a Christian and a Catholic, yet you spew vile hatred with childish name calling and attacks. I sure glad I don't share a pew with you in my Parish.
7:41 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
3 million students a day? The church can only wish it was that!
Don't worry, you are only off by 50%. The actual number, is 2.03M, not 3M as you claim. So, you may ask where those numbers come from, and you should. They come from the National Catholic Education Association;
The peak was in the 1960s, when there were over 5M enrolled. In a single lifetime, enrollment has plummeted over 50%!
In just the past 10 years, enrollment has decreased by over 20%, and is continuing to decline at an increasing rate.
One day, you may wake up to realize that your popularity contest is not as popular as you like to think it is.
9:20 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Stones what attacks? Only the truth! Share a pew? What in your Lutheran or Protestant Church?p
10:41 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Vera, last I checked I was Catholic and attend mass at a great place called St. Damian. Do only Lutheran and Protestant churches only have pews?
The attacks I refer to are your childish names that you call the sitting President of the United States. Whether you dislike the President or just disagree with his policies, it's disrespectful, has nothing to do with facts and really shows your true ignorance and lack of intelligence.
@Longansdad what are we then, an atheist nation????
4:43 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
We are a secular republic whereby each individual can practice their own religious views.
Where in the constitution does it say the US follows Christian values?
4:49 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Hold on Vera as Logansdaddy has to check with Uncle Google to see what type of Nation we are as he claims it is not Christian after all he is the Gospel. The Moses of grandeur.
4:53 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
George, sounds like you are jealous that someone actually knows how to use google.
Did google ever give you the answer to your question about taxes and the presidency?
Did you ever figure it out that running as a presidential candidate is running for president.
Scare to use google because you may learn the truth.
5:01 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Well, I will give you a hint: We have on all our legal tender, "In God we Trust." What does that tell you Uncle Google Moses of Grandeur?. You use Google like Oblamer uses his teleprompter. Now all of sudden, the Liberals are bringing up the Constitution. Wow, what a genius they are. Is that why they are the donkey..jack a----?
And they even found out we are a Republic. All by googling.
5:07 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Georgie do some research as to when "In God We Trust" was added to the currency. It wss not there in 1776.
The same goes with the Peldge. It changed a few times.
5:12 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
However, Logie it is still present to this day on our legal tender.
5:34 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
What is a peldge? What does wss mean? Sorry, couldn't resist a shot at the spelling Nazi.
If Obama has his way, I think the PLEDGE would go something like this....
I pledge allegiance to the Obama of the United Obamas of Obama, and to the Obama for which it stands, one Obama, under Obama, indivisible, with Obama and Obama for all.
5:58 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Typical con. Cant come up with an original thought. You just copy something and add Obama's name to it.
6:11 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
At least I can spell
Sorry for copying The Pledge of Allegiance.
I figured you probably never heard it.
6:37 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
You are never going to get anything across. Facts and truths are irrelevant to trolls that live in mom's basement. You're dealing with people that think this country was founded on a christian God, that obama wasnt born here, and that our corporations arent earning record profits. They believe in voter fraud even if a Republican led committee fnds no evidece. If you provide logical reason and if it doesn' fit their belief system, then you get their retarded rants...
My guess is that gryan is beat up regularly and cries when his level 3 warlock dies. Vera im prerty sure has been fired from her job at taco bell, but still wears the hat shirt daily so her mom dosent find out. Chacotaco anyone?
tbs... well he just hates anything that isnt like him... so if your old, bitter, and full of hate, tbs needs a friend.
6:39 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Nothing beats Bush's embarrassment: the worst attack on US soil. Almost 3000 people killed.
Second worst embarrassment is him looking for WMD under his desk or could it be the cover up of Pat Tillman's death.
7:02 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
First say i live in my mom's basement...sooo original.
Insult and call anyone that doesn't agree with your point of view retarded. Check.
Finally, blame Bush.
You guys should be proud of your stunning ability to argue like I used to when i was in second grade.
By the way, Logansdad, Logan called and he would like you to stop letting people know that you two are related. He says that's the biggest embarrassment of all.
COB, You say all those things that I am supposed to believe, yet , I believe none of them. I do believe this country is headed in the wrong direction and Obama should go. If this makes me "retarded", I'm OK with that. If you think the country is fine, what does that make you? I believe the term is profoundly retarded. Are you OK with that?
See, I can call you guys names and insult your intelligence too. It is not that hard.
What is hard is listening to you defend this administration and wanting more of the same.
7:36 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Bs... none of what you say has anything to do with my points... im tallikg about ridiculous statement s... like the president is a socialist muslim... or that our corporations havent earned record profits... or claiming there is rampant voter fraud... when given simple logical responces with documented facts these idiots give the same retarded responces.... no one can debate that... ihave never said that this administration is anywhere near perfect. I believe in many rep principles... i just cant argue witn stupid.
start posts with "oblamer or obummer then claim hes a muslim or wasnt born here, then yes your a retard...
7:51 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
You must not read my posts.
I do not refer to Obama as anything other than the President or Obama.
I don't care where he was born, I care about where he lives now.
I don't usually insult people in my responses with a few exceptions, one being when a poster is insulting to me, another would be when i respond to ivent/nancygrace/stripes/butch.
You, however, jumped into this discussion with this
You are never going to get anything across. Facts and truths are irrelevant to trolls that live in mom's basement. Nothing but insults and name calling
Sound like what a person of limited intelligence would resort to.
In other words, A Retard
9:14 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
How about you scroll up and you'll see i was here before you
9:25 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
@Tired It means so much that you didn't include me on you name calling list, but when you said you hope I get cancer and MS so you can laugh it meant we will never be friends. You're an ill informed, direct question avoiding, ignorant, slumping Sox loving, conservative tool, but you're my cracker!!!!
9:26 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
I took your advice and you are correct. You were posting on this thread before I was.
I read a lot of posts full of insults and name calling and one post about voter fraud.
You say I am old, bitter, and full of hate and I need a friend, i say you seem to have described yourself perfectly.
9:41 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
You and COB make quite the pair. All you guys do is insult and name call.
I pretty much grew out of that phase sometime in the third or fourth grade.
Isn't this the place where one of you says "Oh snap" and the other one agrees?
Don't try to act all innocent about your earlier comment, you may not have meant to imply she should catch MS, by changing it to BS, but your record for insults and name calling preceded you.
9:44 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Ummmmm you can't catch MS snap!!!!
10:30 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Way to go! You jumped just like I knew you would. So easy! lol
As far as not being able to catch MS, I know MS is not a contagious disease and you can't catch it from somebody that has it. I made a mistake. Seeing as I go on the MS walk every year with my entire family and we have raised several thousand dollars to help fund research to help find a cure for MS, I think I might be a little more knowledgeable than you when it comes to MS.
By the way, my sister-in-law was diagnosed with MS about 10 years ago, so I have seen first hand what this disease does to people.
In case you forgot what you wrote, you were the one who implied catching a disease, I just went with that so you would not get confused.
6:42 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
I'm truly sorry to hear about your sister, but you don't know more about it than I do!l Please forgive me for not listing my resume. Again as with most of you're posts just because you say it, doesn't make it true!
6:47 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
I admit, sometimes I post a little more than a few times. But why would you keep
fighting with these morons on here. They'll never agree with you nor you with them.
A waste of time. Just get your butt out there & vote for your guy.
7:37 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Right on! Nobody is going to change anyone else's mind here.
7:12 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
What is sad is people believe Ronney will change things. He going to follow the same policies as the previous Republican administration - the same policies that caused a lot of the current problems.
How much lower can taxes go before all the jobs will be created. I guess Mr. BS is still waiting for his piece of the trickle down wealth.
7:34 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
I don't know that Romney will make things better, but, I do know that in 4 years, Obama has made things worse.
So now you feel the need to call me poor? Why do all your statements have to include an insult? Is this the only way you can feel good about yourself?
I will no longer respond to you if you feel the need to add insults.
7:42 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
In the last 3 years erything has improved as it pertains to wars ending, teorroists killed the stock market, gdp,, corporate wealth, and jobs. Those are all undeniable facts. The majority of the diaster was from 07-09... the fault of many things...
7:50 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Jobs? Seriously? Maybe if you're a public union parasite
B.S. with Odumba ending the wars. He will go to war with Libya and Iran if he's re-elected! Not!
9:58 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
3drowning straight years? Huh?
Fact is, jobs growth isn't keeping up with the growth of the number of people seeking jobs - hence the unemployment rate grows.
Unless you're one of his pet voting blocks (public union parasite or big-money corporate donor) you're SOL with Obama.
7:48 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Tired of the B.S. I agree with you 100%. I and others leave comments how we feel about Odumba and than the ignorant ones will call us unnecessary names! What are they related to Odumba? It's our right to say what ever we want about Odumba with the dumbo ears and Michelle with the damn horse teeth. Neigh!!!
7:59 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
You don't help by calling the POTUS Odumba.
It is kinda childish to name call.
If you are going to agree with me, please don't stoop to that level, it solves nothing.
I do agree that the majority of our currant problems started between 07 to 09. Funny how that was when the House and Senate were controlled by the Democrats.
Could they be part of the problem, too?
8:29 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
What an outstanding Christian you are Vera. I'm sure those gates will be wide open when you're called home. You give new meaning to trailer trash comments.
8:49 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Walt you aren't God so don't judge me! You or no one else can do that , but the almighty God! Sins are forgiven everyday! Trailer trash? I'm not from Bolingbrook! Are you? Probably a better Catholic then you would ever be in your life!
9:38 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Vera if you followed Christian teachings you wouldn't be blasting the appearance of someone else. Making fun of someone's teeth or ears is so childish and if you put those nasty words in a public forum you will be judged. Your "words" were described as trailer trash comments had you of read my post. Paying more attention to the writings of others would do you a world of good.
You might have me beat on the Catholic thing but Christian values you have a long way to go in-order to meet me in the middle.
10:19 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Walt I believe I left you in the dust of my trail with Christian values, so no sense to meet you in the middle. No sin talking about big ears or big teeth.
7:55 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Stick this up your (|) you liberals!!!
It’s official. President Barack Obama is the biggest spender in the history of the world. And that is not hyperbole. Like a shopaholic who denies the addiction, Obama has consistently been in denial about his reckless spending addiction. Despite President Barack Obama’s denials, though, an analysis by Forbes shows there has not been a greater spender than Obama.
According to Forbes, “Obama’s own fiscal 2013 budget ... shows federal spending increasing from $2.983 trillion in 2008 to an all time record $3.796 trillion in 2012, an increase of 27.3%” and, “before Obama there had never been a deficit anywhere near $1 trillion.”
In addition, Obama had four consecutive budget deficits of over a trillion dollars and, in just one term, will “will have increased the national debt as much as all prior Presidents, from George Washington to George Bush, combined.”
And according to the study, budget proposals supported by Obama and Congressional Democrats will increase federal spending to the point where it will become 80% of the GDP if not reined in.
8:17 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Canada, New Zealand, and The Netherlands all spend much more than the US in comparison by GDP.
You didn't even understand the first sentence of what you wrote enough to know that it was wrong.
I'm betting that you don't know whats wrong about the rest of what you wrote. Suffice it to say, math is not your strong point.
8:23 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Tim argue with Forbes who provide the study!!
8:24 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Why don't you explain it to us then.
Putting up a chart means nothing.
Put your money where your mouth is or quit being so condescending.
As I said before, insults are easy, real thought takes effort.
8:30 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Yes, real thought does take effort. So, why don't you explain to Vera what the errors in that post I was discussing are. That way, she will learn something new today.
I have nothing to prove to you. Facts are only something to be argued by those who don't understand them.
8:33 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
I'm not going to argue with Forbes, mostly because they never said the things you are claiming.
If they did, you would have provided the link.
What did Forbes actually say?
You need to learn to verify the things you hear Vera. It will keep you from looking like a fool in public.
8:41 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Intersesting Tim! Read this article from Forbes ! Hummm! Are you the bigger fool now!
8:48 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Vera, I already showed you that Canada, New Zealand, and The Netherlands all spend more than the US as a percent of GDP.
Did you not read that, or did you not understand that it means your claim is not true. You can verify this with some simple math and the government numbers from all of those countries, all on your own. You can do math, right?
Posting a link to something that has already been proven to be false, does not make it less false.
8:57 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Your link was written by a hard-core lib. Of course Obama will look good in HIS opinion.
Your link was written by a hard-core con. Of course Obama will look bad in HIS opinion.
Maybe both of you could let us know what you think.
Anybody with google can post links to what others think.
8:59 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Tim is Forbes wrong? Who do you believe? I believe Forbes! I can care less about Canada, New Zealand, and The Netherlands, this is about a U.S. President such as Obama spending more money than any other President in our history!
9:02 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Peter Ferrara outright and unapologetically admits that he "occasionally" accepts payments from lobbyists for writing on specific topics. Quoting Peter Ferrara, who has been proven to print patently false statements, isn't going to help your, "Odumba is a big spending, God-hating, dumb a:: liberal who better fear the impending rise of the mighty Catholics!!!!" argument. Keep making those comments, though. You're representing your party and your faith in a very entertaining manner. I just can't turn away from the train-wreck this thread has become.
9:15 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Funny thing, If you google Rick Unger (the guy you quote) one of the first responses is Rick Unger liberal.
Somehow I think each author may be slightly biased.
9:23 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
one of those links has been shown to be wrong by multiple sources. Using incorrect numbers, has nothing to do with politics.
Let me ask you, who was it that created the federal budget for 2009? One of those links ignores that, while the other doesn't.
How short must the attention span be of someone that doesn't remember Hank Paulson on national TV demanding a bank bailout with an explanation of a whole 3 pages? You can not rewrite history to re-assign him to another administration. Or not remember the $700B bailout bill passed in Oct 2008?
One of those links groups numbers from before the election was even held. The other groups the numbers based on who was actually holding the office when the events happened.
I posted the link I did, because I understand that it is presenting data in a way that you can verify on your own. One of the links gives you the sources for the data being used, the other presents not a single external link in order to verify what is being claimed... you just have to 'trust him' that its right.
Look at the 2 links side by side-
Notice which one provides you with external verification of the data from multiple sources
Notice which one doesn't provide any way at all to verify it.
Verify it on your own. All It takes is about 15 minutes and a calculator.
10:06 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
The 2009 budget was signed by President Obama. Here is when and what Obama said when he signed it.
The final spending bills for the budget were not signed into law until March 11, 2009 by President Barack Obama, nearly five and a half months after the fiscal year began. "I am signing an imperfect omnibus bill because it's necessary for the ongoing functions of government," Obama declared. "But I also view this as a departure point for more far-reaching change." This final bill also featured 7991 earmarks totaling nearly 5.5 billion dollars.
That was the budget submitted by George Bush.
What is the budget now?
The last budget proposed by Obama was rejected by congress 513-0.
11:26 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Did you not do the math because you didn't like the answer? Or did you not do it because you didn't know how?
I didn't ask you for a quote from the signing of an omnibus spending bill. I asked you who submitted the 2009 budget. The budget submitted was off by $600B in what it 'guessed' it would get in revenue. It has absolutely nothing to do with who signed it.
2005 -> 2.4 trillion
2006 -> 2.7 trillion 12.5%
2007 -> 2.8 trillion 3.7%
2008 -> 2.9 trillion 3.57%
2009 -> 3.1 trillion 6.89%
12.5 + 3.57 + 3.44 + 6.45 = 25.96 / 4 = 6.49% increase in budget....
2010 -> 3.6 trillion 16.12% increase over Bush09 (2.85% over Obama's 2009 budget)
2011 -> 3.8 trillion 5.55% increase
2012 -> 3.7 trillion - 2.63% increase
2013 -> 3.8 trillion* 2.70% increase
16.12 + 5.55 - 2.63 = 19.04 / 3 = 6.34% increase in budget.....
16.12 + 5.55 -2.63 + 2.70 = 21.74 / 4 = 5.43%* increase in budget (estimated).......
There are the raw numbers -
Bush - 6.49% increase in budget YoY
Obama - 5.43% increase in budget YoY
Keep arguing, I dare you.
8:24 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Wow vera and Mr BS are trying to compare today's dollars to that of 30 years ago and still think they are the same. I got news for them, things cost more today than they did 30 years ago. If you want to do an accurate account of spending, you should put the cost in the same dollar value in order to get an accurate comparison.
Way to go Tim for providing some facts about spending. To the cons, nothing mattered to them until Obama was sworn in. Then all of a sudden spending and the deficit became in a huge issue.
If the cons look back at the last 40 years worth of history, they would see the deficit significantly increased when Republicans were in the White House.
8:15 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Here's a typical comment from
Chronicles of Bob
11:17 am on Sunday, September 23, 2012
It's not driving away anyone... An idiot like you that says so, yet still takes the time to read, sign up and post is all the proof i need... What a dope!
I refuse to vote for Obama until he does something to help the Bear's offense. We have to stop relying the the defense to get the job done. It takes both sides people! Both sides!
9:51 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Not to worry. Since the defense has had a disproportionate share of success, Obama plans to penalize their success and institute a federal mandate that they are only allowed 2 sacks per game.
9:54 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Nat I just saw that on Hannity too! So typical Obama right?
10:10 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
You need something better than that if you want to verbal joust with me.
10:15 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Is that code?
9:37 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Im pretty sure vera has a thing for me.
Lucky......she can take her teeth out!!!!
9:48 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Typical Vera response:
that will be $7.89. please pull up.
10:16 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Sounds like Mr. BS is playing the victim card. Mommy every is calling me names. If you cant grow a pair and deal with it then don't post here.
I see things slowly getting better. When Obama came in everything was a mess. You cons are funny deficits didnt mtter. A two point increase in the unemployment rate during the last six months of the Bush ers didnt matter.
And what have the Republicans done since getting controll of the House in 2010? Not a thing. You had the crier of the House who claimed his number one priority was msking sure Obama didnt get elected. So much for caring about this country and the middle class.
10:20 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Obama had full control of the House and Senate, he was a media darling...he could have done anything he wanted.
What a squandered opportunity.
He makes Carter look good.
10:31 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Yikes, Loganie is out of the lion den. You see things slowly getting better.Like what? Barky's golf swing and his appetite for chain smoking? There are NO JOBS, noone is hiring they are laying off each and every day. Look at the rate of foreclosures, unemployment, HYPERINFLATION, Gas Prices spiking each and every time you fill up...this is not a recession it is a Barky procession...he has to go.He is a reckless spender and now this is the start of a Depression. He is a divider that is the reason nothing can get accomplished.

I am not playing the victim card, I am just tired of all the name calling. You may feel free to call me any name you wish. It just shows that your idea of a debate is a little more childish than what adults usually do.
Won't it be great to hear President Obama tell Mitt Romney go back to is mother's basement when they debate?
I can't wait to here Romney call the President Odumber...what a comeback.
When you have to use insults and name calling to try to make a point, It diminishes your credibility. Anything said after Obummer or Twit loses its punch because the first thing you have to deal with is extreme bias.
Plus it really creeps me out when some strange guy is concerned about my pair.
8:18 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
You claim you are tired of all the BS, but then you go ahead and posted the little Obama Pledge. So which is it, you are tired of all the BS or you are not. If you are truely tired as you say you are, you have the option of not posting/responding.

Georgie did the guards give you some extra free time in the yard. Where are the jobs? Ask your Republicans. They campaigned in 2010 on creating jobs. They also promised not to add to the deficit but they broke that promise after getting elected.
10:57 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Loganie, the majority of jobs are all overseas now which started with Clinton. This great nation needs to boycott China and stop buying goods made from them. Start placing tariff tax on our exporting goods and their importing goods. Lower the tax rate so small businesses can thrive and have money to hire. We have become a consuming nation instead of the manufacturing industrial nation we once were.
11:22 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Georgie what do you suggest we start making license plates?
Corporate profits are at records high. All companies care about are profits and the returns to shareholders. They do not care about investing in their plants or employees.
Care you show what the Republicans have actually done to change anything you claim is the cause of the job problem.
10:52 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Georgie do you honestly think the president has control over gas prices?
Mitt is not a uniter. The vote will be close but he is not the candidate to unite this country.
Foreclosures nationwide are coming down.
11:05 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Loganie, the gas prices are high because of the tax tariff attached to them. Don't you think we need to be independent in our own consuming resources and start drilling oil to be less dependent on the Middle East? How do you know Mitt isn't a uniter. I know Paul Ryan is a uniter because both aisles respect him. Foreclosures here in this county are up this was just noted last week.
11:19 pm on Monday, September 24, 2012
Really Georgie, This is the latest I found on foreclosures. It shows a steady trend of foreclosures going down.
You are also wrong about gas prices:

GRyan is blissfully unaware of the concept of inflation. He seems stuck in a period of time where nothing changes for him. Except of course, the outside world did change, making him a relic of days that are no more. His confusion comes when he compares the days he remembers, to today. It's a common psychological mistake, and this is usually taught in depth above a 100 level class. It becomes obvious listening to those who put forward this argument, when exactly they stopped their formal educations.
Turns out that gas was a lot more expensive in the past, in inflation-adjusted dollars.
We are not 'dependent' on foreign oil, and no matter how many times your politicians try to scare you with those nasty arabs, it still wont be true. Open a book learn something.
That's right, the US actually exports more oil than it imports, in total. Add to that, that the majority of the oil imported comes from Canada, and that argument gets shattered into pieces.
Why does it always seem that those who espouse todays republican party 'values', are blissfully unaware how silly they sound parroting information designed to get them to vote a certain way, but that is not actually true?
8:45 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012

9:11 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Intersesting information from fact check!!
9:44 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
And there you go. Today you learned something.
Your link clearly points out that the growth in the budget is 5.2% YoY(0.23% lower than my numbers). The numbers I posted above were 'generous' in favoring Bush just to prove a point, and they STILL came in with a slower rate of growth that your previous hyperbole suggested.
Or do you not understand what you just read?
10:42 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Which budget was that?
11:20 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
All of them.
YoY means 'Year over Year'.
This is how you construct a meaningful set of numbers, that is independent of who is actually holding the office, and that consists of an equal amount of years in each comparison.
Again, I have to ask;
Do you understand what you are reading? Because you can do this all on your own with a calculator. You don't have to listen to a single persons 'opinion'. All of your confusion can be eliminated if you would simply do the math on your own.

10:11 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Now here is a funny joke or shall I say a nightmare!! On a clip from the View, they asked Michelle Obama if she would consider running for President. How stupid! She knows squat and has no brains to be President. Sara Palin has more knowledge of politics and to be a President in her little pinky than Michelle has in her entire brain!
10:46 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Congratulations Vera. You have now made the dumbest comment in the history of the Patch, which is saying something. Sarah Palin? You are certifiable.
11:03 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Vera volpi salami, why don't you list how Michelle answered that question? To chicken to even list her response to the question. Instead you just attack the question being asked and assume Michelle said yes.
11:04 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Youre mad at Michelle Obama because the ladies on the view asked her a question...? Really? It would be pointless to debate who is 'smarter" between the two ladies, but your girl Pailin basically locked up the election for and quit as Gov.
11:19 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
And one of the stupidest questions in the history of the View! Are they stupid ladies on the View or what?
11:31 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
You want to know what stupid is: Mitt Romney thinking a plane's windows should be able to roll down during flight.
Just goes to show how out of touch with reality.
1:01 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Quoting Gkyip (Thread starter):
3) (this is more of a general 747 question) Do the windows not open? If not, why not?
The windows on the 747 do not open. There is an overhead hatch for emergency egress instead. I don't know why they chose that solution. All other current Boeing aircraft have opening windows.
1:04 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012

Watched the clip of Michelle on the view, when asked the question about running for president, Michelle said she would not run.
So Vera got all uptight about a question being asked. She never listened to hear what Michelle's answer was. Typical
10:53 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Yea right. Love to see Michelle Obama in a debate against Sara Palin and Michelle will look and sound like a big dummy!!! I bet someone like you would actually vote for Michelle over Sara Palin! Now that's certifiable!!

I'll take 2 tacos, a bean burrito, and a nacho...
11:18 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Bob, I will take a new President and new First Lady...thank you. Come November Barky and his chain gang will be REMOVED like RODENTS! What is a President and a First so-Called Lady doing on a TV show when they should be working? They are both inappropriate and so unprofessional. There are economy problems to be solved but Barky has been on a vacation since entering the White House which he has destroyed with his Hollyweird parties and Basketball croonies.....
11:40 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Vera, the more you post, the more ridiculous you sound. Right now the only person I'm aware of that Sarah Palin is smarter than is you. With your complete lack of knowledge and level of ignorance, I kind of miss Ivent's addled conspiracy rants.
The fact of the matter is, if between now and November, President Obama solved all of our problems and you personally reaped the greatest benefit, you still wouldn't vote for him. I'm sure you'll come back with Odumba would never do that, but please realize that the "if" makes it a hypothetical example to make a point. You simply are not bright enough to think on your own. It's much easier to believe every piece of trash in your email and whatever Hannity, Beck and Rush tell you you should. You're just a sad, sorry example of a good portion of our voting public.
11:17 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012

11:22 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Obama's leadership is about as effective as Lettermen's monologues.
11:23 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Does anyone know which sitting President in our history has appeared on more talk shows than any other President, instead of doing his job as he should be? One guess! Odumba!
11:28 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
That is how Obama is "champaign" these days. I suppose it bothers you that he is getting his message out in formats that are relevant in the 21st century.
11:27 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Logansdad DBSFS! The point is that the View was stupid just to ask Michelle the question in the first place! As she is not even qualified to be asked such a question!
11:36 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
So Vera please explain which qualification Michelle Obama does not meet below:
No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.
Term limit amendment - US Constitution, Amendment XXII, Section 1 – ratified February 27, 1951
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.
11:46 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
And??? I'm still waiting for Michelle's qualification! None!
12:28 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Those are the only qualifications to be president per the constitution. If Michelle meets those qualifications she can run as president.
Heck if you meet them, you can run.
I am sorry if you don't understand that.
11:29 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Vera would you ever consider ever running for President? OMG I can't believe how dumb you are!!! You don't know squat and have no brains to be president!!! Michelle Bauchman has more...wait scratch that...Sarah Palin....wait stay with me.....Hilary Clinton has more knowledge of politics to be president in her left breast than you do in your entire body. You lost all credibility on Patch now because by you're logic I asked you a question about something you are obviously not qualified for!!! Sorry AH just playing by your rules.....now go be comforted by Tired of the BS. He's expecting you!!!! OH CONSERVATIVE AHs SPOONING SNAP!!!

Is this not the same person who was calling the first lady names? You're such a hypocrite!!!
11:32 am on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Wrong Logansdad. No talk shows as a sitting President! Thats why we have debates! Obama should be sitting at his desk getting work done that he's being paid to do!
And where is that written down that a sitting President can't not appear on a talk show.
You better do some research because Obama is not the 1st president to be on a talk show.
You cons are really grasping at straws.
What else are you going to nick pick about.
And with those wonderful comments, the children have officially taken over this thread.
I, for one, am done. I can't compete at that level, I don't have the experience.
Time for Laura to remind you kids to play nice.

COB, how old do you think Vera is. Based on her posts, I think she is around 15. If she is older, she was definitely not born in this country.
1:15 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Logansdad here is some interesting facts on plane windows!
Nice try Vera, but the windows you referred to are on the flight deck not in the main cabin. The windows Mitt thought should open were in the main cabin. I bet you don't know why the windows in the main cabin don't open.
1:44 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Planes can have windows in the cabin area if the manufactor opted for them, but it's more of a safety issue. If a plane descends to about 10-12,000 feet a window can be opended safely. The point I was trying to make that planes do have windows that open, but someone said no planes have windows that open!
1:52 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Again that is on the flight deck. Mitt thought the main cabin should have windows that open. By your response, it sounds like you do as well Vera.
3:57 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Logansdad are you saying its impossible to have 2 or 3 windows on certain parts of the cabin that open? Yes it is possible!
4:03 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
You obviously don't know what makes up the cabin vs flight deck do you.
Next time you decide to get on a plane, get up during mid flight and make an announcement that you want some of the windows to open and see what happens.
4:25 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Romney is so out of touch! When I heard this it was just another straw in the camels back. It's about as good as him going to the hardware store to buy hardware things. This entire campaign has become a joke. I dread what he might say next, it could very well start another war.
Honestly, is this the best we could have done for the Republican party.
4:40 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Very knowledgable about flight decks and cabins and aspects of a plane! Care to trade wits? What happens if a window was open at 10-12,000 feet? Nothing! You don't get sucked out of the plane like stupid movies show. Two or Three windows in the cabin would not be impossible to have installed and they would be locked and only unlocked by the Captain or flight attendant!
4:47 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Now Vera thinks planes fly at 10-12,000 feet. When I have been on planes, 99% of the flight was above 20,000 feet.
Yes lets have windows on planes that any one can open. Gee mom, I am hot. I am going to open this window to cool off. I bet you would say, sure son go ahead. I am feeling warm as well.
5:08 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Planes generally cruise at 25-35,000 or even higher depending on route and destination. Emergency windows out of the question ? No. Prime example several hundred miles from an airport that can't handle a big jet and there's an electrical fire and the plane fills with thick choking smoke! Can the plane descend to 10,000 feet and decompress and a window opended to let out the smoke and fresh air? I believe it can!
8:03 am on Wednesday, September 26, 2012
So now Vera wants to open windows on smokey airplanes to let the fresh air out? Boy you get dumber by the minute. Even at 10,000-12,000, you wouldn't open windows, while nobody would get sucked out like in the "movie shows", it would be pretty damn windy don't you think.
There sre windows in the cockpit that open in order for the pilots to communicate with the ground crew if needed. And you offer to match wits? Don't offer what you don't have.
8:47 am on Wednesday, September 26, 2012

6:50 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
If the election were held today, Obama would be 5 points ahead and over 300 Electoral votes. After the debates, his margin will increase. Face it, Obama is going to win and Romney's Libya gaffe and 47% gaffe is now ruining Republican chances of taking over the Senate. Will these righties swear their loyalty to America when it's all official on the morning of November 7th?
7:42 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
They should abolish electoral votes! Elections should only be based on popular votes!
7:53 am on Wednesday, September 26, 2012
If they abolish the Electoral College, you will always have a liberal Democratic President because the big cities will be the only votes that matter. The Electoral College is what gives everyone a voice.
In 2000, I'm sure you loved the way it worked. Your statement is just another example of your ignorance and lack of knowledge.
When did liberal become such a dirty word to be used with such disdain? I guess conservative for some as well.
7:45 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
A bunch of liberals here are simpletons!!!! Why??
7:49 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
Even if Obama wins, I'll never give the moron any loyalty or any support to him! He has to earn it and he has yet to do so!!!
9:36 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2012
I'm sure Obama will be disappointed in not getting any support from someone who makes a "cum" joke in a public forum. You stay classy.
4:18 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012
WOW.....this has turned into a re-tard contest.
7:34 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012
Vera, since you posted two different replys on different topics and called me a moron on both, I'll reply here.
I'm 52 so I don't understand the gibberish letters you're posting and it seems you are calling everyone names. Me saying you are ignorant of facts and lacking knowledge is not calling you names, just stating facts.
As far as your opinion on the Electoral College, it is misguided if you prefer conservative Republican presidents (BTW, typically my choice too) because if the elections were decided by popular vote, it's most likely that we will have liberal Democratic presidents. That is because the bulk of the votes will come from the big cities and voters in places like Wyoming will lose there voice.
As far as airplane windows go, they simply don't open because that is just stupid. Whether or not you have opinions doesn't make the right. If I stated that, in my opinion, Vera is brilliant, there would be a slew of people on here posting that I'm wrong. See how it works?
7:48 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012
Stone see how gullible people are when I come here and talk nonsense and make off the wall comments! Can't anyone figure it out that I came here to ruffle some feathers and solicit some crazy comments and to see what kind of reaction I can get. It sure was easy too do so. By the way , I'm 56 and a ultra conservative republican and proud of it.
7:51 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012
You're a UCR?
8:59 pm on Wednesday, September 26, 2012
I don't believe you elicited any crazy comments out of me. I just try to be rational and think things through using real facts and information. The scary thing is, there an awful lot of irrational people out there and most of the screeching is truly coming from the far right. No ruffled feathers here, I love a good debate.

Subject: The 2 Quotes of the Decade
"There are two ways to conquer & enslave a nation
One is by the sword.
The other is by debt." John Adams 1826
The Quote of the Decade:
"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America 's
debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the
US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that
we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign
countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies.
Increasing America 's debt weakens us domestically and
internationally. Leadership means that, "the buck stops
here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad
choices today onto the backs of our children and
grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure
of leadership. Americans deserve better."
~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006
Pass it on 'til eternity...
It was so nice of him to give us this great quote for posterity --
Actually he did not say it, someone else did it for him. Right ???? So it is Bush's fault.
He called it, he (if he has any creditability) should stand by it. But he will not.
10:15 am on Thursday, September 27, 2012
What's your point... I'd love to see you explain it....
10:57 am on Thursday, September 27, 2012
Isn't it self explanatory ! Or is it to far over your peanut sized brain! I guess snopes didn't do their research or its made up?
11:00 am on Thursday, September 27, 2012
Obama may not be the most popular President for the people, and some of those people who hate Obama probably do just hate him because he is black, but certainly not all of them. There are actually some people with educated reasons why they dislike Obama, and the reverse is true, People may like him just because he is black, and thats pretty scary to have those types of people voting. People should base thier votes off educated decisions and not just because. I for one am not a big fan of either the current President or the candidate, but I am not sure if making a change in the Presidency now will help things or hurt things. I do think while Obama may not be the best President ever, he is a strong President, and the fact that he authorized the raid that killed Bin Laden last year was obviously a major factor in his re-election. I just dont see Romney winning this election
11:19 am on Thursday, September 27, 2012
What President in their right mind wouldn't authorize the raid for Bin Laden! It was a no brainer and Obama had no involvement in the finding of Bin Laden! Ever since Bin Laden was killed he always says I did this, I did that and it should be they! It wasn't him , but his security forces that located Bin Laden and the Navy Seals killed him! So Obama should stop taking all the credit by saying I and just say they!
11:51 am on Thursday, September 27, 2012
"What President in their right mind wouldn't authorize the raid for Bin Laden!"
Predident Bush didn't. He took his eye off the prize and went into Iraq. If the focus stayed in Afghanistan an on bin Laden/al queda maybe we would have gotten him much earlier. In that scenario, we could be out of Afghanistan already, never in Iraq and saved how many of the trillions we are in debt, not to mention countless lives. especially those serving in our military.
The raid wasn't such an easy decision. If it failed, who would you blame? The Navy Seals? Doubtful, we all know who you would blame and there is no reason why that same person shouldn't get the credit for success.
Still trying to ruffle feathers with your childish name calling?
11:31 am on Thursday, September 27, 2012
Case in point!!!
Current and former Navy SEALS are not happy with Obama taking credit for putting an end to Osama bin Laden.
Many believe being an election year that Obama is using the Navy Seals as a boost for his own reelection bid. In other words, politics as usual.
You see, the White House is running a campaign ad marking the first anniversary of the killing of bin Laden and the ad states “Which path would Mitt Romney have taken?” Perhaps suggesting that Romney would not had done anything? Let’s see here… which candidate is about building the military, not reducing it? Which president would receive top secret classified intel reports predicting a high percentage of capturing (or killing) the number one terroist in the world, and ‘not’ do anything?
A former Navy operator, Ryan Zinke, spent 23 years in the teams as well as Seal team six said, “the decision was a no brainer. I applaud him for making it (the decision) but I would not overly pat myself on the back for making the right call.”
Zinke goes on to say, “I think every president would have done the same. He is justified in saying it was his decision but the preparation, the sacrafice… it was a broader team effort. The President and his administration are positioning him as a war president using the Navy SEALS as ammunition. It was predictable.”

"Many believe being an election year that Obama is using the Navy Seals as a boost for his own reelection bid. In other words, politics as usual."
You Cons are funny. You jump for joy when Bush had a party on an aircraft carrier with a Mission Accomplished Banner. Bush also had no problems using 9/11 as a political tactic in his re-election campaign. But when a major figure is taken out suddenly it becomes a political football and is off limits

In fact, even left leaning liberals are even condemning Obama’s actions. Arianna Huffington, who runs the Huffington Post said “We should all celebrate the fact that they did such a great job. It’s one thing to have an NBC special from the Situation Room… all that to me is legitimate, but to turn it into a campaign ad is one of the most despicable things you can do.”
But then again, it is an election year. Right?
Truth be told, any president in office would had loved the opportunity that Obama had. The ‘risk reward’ ratio was enormous! The upside is beyond incredible and who would ever be angry about ‘not’ taking a legit swipe at bin Laden if it did not go as planned? Not to mention, having a stacked deck in your favor with the deadly master ops Navy Seals performing the operation. Don’t forget that this all-important operation was carefully rehearsed and perfectly staged long in advance. There was no margin for significant error!

Honestly, if Romney were in office, many believe that the call would had been made earlier. Then again, the President simply ‘rubber stamps’ the order and a good President then ‘steps aside’ and lets the experts go to work. According to special forces insiders, much of the credit goes to Admiral William McRaven, a former Navy Seal who was then head of Joint Special Operations Command who made the the decision to take bin Laden out. Tactical choices were then passed along down the chain. All to say, not one person… even the President of the United States… should ever take credit for such a massive and successful operation.
Truthfully, it’s a waste of time for any one single person to take the credit. Can you imagine a Navy SEAL operator standing up and claiming that he solely deserved all the credit? Of course not, nor should any leader even the President! We must all stand and be thankful for the collection of intelligence from a vast many and then the special forces community along with daring pilots who all collectively pulled off the ultimate operation.
Arm chair quarterbacks need not apply. Especially politicians!
