Two University of St. Francis musical ensembles, the Concert Chorale and Bernie's Band, are seeking new members. Joliet-area musicians are invited to join these groups, which consist of students, employees, alumni and members of the local community.

Concert Chorale is a choir that meets at the university on Mondays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with some performances throughout the year. To find out more about singing with Concert Chorale, contact USF professor Will Thomen at 815-740-5043.

Bernie's Band also meets at the university, with varying practice times. The group provides music at all home football games as well as other special events. Email USF professor Robert Stumpf at rstumpf@stfrancis.edu about playing in the band.
