Currently local students Stephanie Wright, Tim Baran and Jackie Hushaw of Channahon, and Heather Gear of Minooka are attending the Joliet Junior College Culinary Arts program. Over the years, multiple students have attended the program. Many of those students have been able to take advantage of the scholarship dollars that are brought in through fundraisers throughout the year. The Spring Scholarship Gala offered diners a real treat while supporting the students who were cooking for them that evening.
