What Causes Contrails?

Jet trails seemed to be extensive in the Joliet area Wednesday.

Jet trails occur rather naturally when the exhaust of a jet plane meets with the atmosphere.

"It’s a reaction of the atmosphere to the jet exhaust being let out," Richard Castro, National Weather Service meteorologist said. "They're basically artificial clouds.

"They're triggered by water vapor in the exhaust of the aircraft engines."

Castro said a lot of good information on contrails can be found here.

"They almost actually become clouds, almost," Castro said.

Since the Chemtrails have become less frequent, it seems easy to pass them off as contrails. But before you buy into that completely, you might ask yourself why the "condensation trails" hang around in the sky for hours, they should dissipate rather quickly. There have been days when the whole sky would be covered. You might start with the following two sites.

Yeah,
You need more tinfoil for that hat, David.

A basic understanding of physics makes your 'ideas' easily dismissed. For example;

The physics of falling droplets described here;
http://journals.ametsoc.org/doi/pdf/10.1175/1520-0450%281969%29008%3C0249%3ATVORA%3E2.0.CO%3B2
shows that the 'average' droplet of a 'chemtrail cloud', would take over 8 HOURS to reach the ground, and with even a light breeze would travel over NINE HUNDRED MILES from where you actually see the cloud.

900 miles away, is the Atlantic ocean. This is basic HS physics.

Your links, however, refer to such things as 'etheric beings' and their power to 'protect' you from chemtrails.

I don't have to ask myself why trails hang around in the sky. Weather conditions that are already known provide those answers. In a high relative humidity environment, such as existed at high altitudes the other day, will allow condensation trails to persist for long periods of time. Just like here on the ground, fog(which is nothing more than a cloud on the ground) will persist all night long and sometimes will into the next day. It does this for the same reason, a high relative humidity.

The world already knows why condensation trails can persist for hours, now it is your turn to understand why.

Ok then, I stand corrected.

Oh Tim, Tim, Tim....I'm ALMOST speechless! Actually, I am so beyond talking to people and trying to get blind floridated sheeple to recognize what a "real" cloud is, and what a "chemtrail" cloud is, that I'm pretty much over it. I've progressed to instructing people on how to protect themselves from these chemicals. Dawn, the author of this rather scant, unscientific, and misleading article and yourself Tim, can continue to tell yourself that they are "harmless contrails". The plus side is that we will eventually get rid of those people that lack critical thinking and a mind of their own. The rest of us will continue to test, chelate, and battle the effects of the many PROVEN chemicals that are not only being dumped on us from the skies, but are also put into our Monsanto engineered foods, into our water, our toothpaste, our deoderant, etc.

I wonder how you, Tim, and Dawn would dismiss this Company that has been modifying weather in the USA by "spraying" us for over 25 years? Here is a list of their "projects"....are you going to tell me this is BS? Are you going to tell me this doesn't exist? If your silly physics lesson listed above Tim were true, then these projects and this company would not exist. So major FAIL on that one.

CALIPSO - CloudSat Validation Experiment
Delaware Department of Agriculture Cloud Seeding Program
Edwards Aquifer Authority
Federal Aviation Administration - Great Lakes Division

As far as these trails "disappearing" sooner, the "hang time" depends on what type of chemicals are being sprayed. There are many different kinds.
Northeast Sampling Program - Sonoma Technology, Inc.
NSF/NCAR ICE-L Field Campaign
Oklahoma Weather Modification Project (OWMP)
Panhandle Groundwater Conservation District Rainfall Enhancement Program
Santa Barbara County Water Agency
Sonoma Technology, Inc.
Stanislaus Weather Modification Program
State of South Dakota - Department of Natural Resources Division of Weather Modification
Texas Central High Plains Rainfall Enhancement Program
Texas Experiment in Augmenting Rainfall through Cloud Seeding (TEXARC)
Texas Weather Modification Program
The University of North Dakota - US Environmental Protection Agency
University of Arizona - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
Upper American River Cloud Seeding Project
Upper Payette River Basin Cloud Seeding Program
Upper Tuolumne River Weather Modification Program
Utah Division of Water Resources
Utah Division of Water Resources
West Central Texas Council of Governments Rainfall Enhancement Program
Western Dakota Water Development District - Black Hills Council of Local Government
Wyoming Weather Modification Pilot Program

So, in closing Tim, I'm afraid you may be the one that needs the "tin foil hat".

I've been around these discussions for a very long time, and your silly comments will do no good with me. Good luck in a future filled with doctors, diseases, big pharma, and feeling like crap constantly.

That's very profound Tim. At least David was man enough to "stand corrected".
