The motto "Building Families of Faith" signifies the commitment that the First Baptist Church of Channahon has to passing on worship and prayers to the community. The church shares the Gospel with others in an accepting environment. Many extra activities are offered as well, such as a youth group for middle and high schoolers, self-defense classes and a flag football team.

Sunday service is at 10:30 am and is at new facility on Route 6 (just before expressway)...there is a Saturday evening service at 6:30 pm at Fryer Street location. There is an early service at 8:00 am and bible studies at 9:15 am on Sundays at new building on Route 6. Something for everyone!
