Every 3rd Monday of the month is Meatloaf Monday at VFW Post 9545. Enjoy Homemade Meatloaf, REAL mashed potatoes (with lumps) &amp; gravy, vegetables, and bread with butter. Deserts are available for $3. Dine-in the bar, or carry-outs are available. All dinners are $15. Dinner starts @ 4 pm and goes on until we run out. It goes fast so get in early. $3 Domestic Bottles and 5 Bottle Buckets of Domestic Bottles are just $12. Single-serve wine is available as well. Tuesday Night is Bingo Night in the Hall at New Lenox VFW Post 9545, and THE PUBLIC IS WELCOME!!!
Doors open at @4 pm, and the first ball drops at @6:15pm
In 2023, Tuesday Night Bingo paid $234,525.00 in cash prizes, including Bingo, Raffles, and Pull Tabs. Congratulations!!
Last week, we paid out $4,150.00 in prizes, including progressive games!!!!

The series kicks off on April 23 with an Earth-Day inspired event, Windy City Weather: A Look at Argonne National Laboratory’s Research into Urban Climate Change. Join atmospheric scientists Matt Tuftedal and Paytsar Muradyan as they share insights into changing weather, climate studies, and their work with Argonne’s Community Research on Climate and Urban Science (CROCUS) project. 
CROCUS deploys cutting-edge scientific instruments across the region to measure temperature, wind speed, air quality, soil moisture, precipitation, and more. By analyzing this data, researchers gain a deeper understanding of how climate change is already impacting Chicagoland neighborhoods, and why different neighborhoods experience climate change differently.
Discover how this research empowers communities to effectively prepare for climate impacts. Plus, get a sneak peek at affordable tools you can use to set up your own weather station!
Beverages will be available for purchase from the Public Landing Restaurant, conveniently located within the Gaylord Building. These talks are geared toward adults, but thinkers of all ages are welcome to attend based on their interest and attention levels.

Tickets for the 3rd annual Will County Beer and Bourbon Fest, presented by Blue Ribbon Products, are now available. The event will feature over 100 different kinds of beer and bourbon available to sample, as well as food available for purchase.
Will County Beer and Bourbon Fest, held June 8th outside Hollywood Casino in Joliet, will benefit Will County Habitat for Humanity's Veterans Build program. Last year's Beer and Bourbon Fest raised $138,500.
Live music will include Eve Casino, Righteous Hillbillies, Crooked Tails, The Chicago Blues Angels, The Steepwater Band, Cheryl Rodey, Tom and Becky Duo, David Francis and Colleen Wild, and Ryan Hegarty. 
"This amazing event brings the community together in support of Will County Habitat for Humanity's Veteran Build programs," Will County Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Nicole Murray said. "A safe and stable home is vital for the success of every family. Supporting the Will County Beer &amp; Bourbon Fest is not only an investment in our community but helps local veterans in need."
Tickets to the Will County Beer and Bourbon Fest are $75 ($65 early bird) for general admission and $125 for VIP. Admission includes entrance from 12pm-5pm (11am VIP), a commemorative glass, samples of beer and bourbon, food available for purchase, live music, vendors, and games.
