Winter Weather Advisory: Expect a Snowy New Year's Eve

Snow is in the forecast for tonight, Tuesday night.

If you're planning to go out on New Year's Eve, you may want to keep an eye on the forecast.

The National Weather Service is predicting snow on Monday night, ending around midnight with very little accumulation.

But on Tuesday — one of the biggest going-out nights of the year — there's a 70 percent chance of precipitation, with 2 to 4 inches of snow possible and a wind chill as low as -4.

More snow is likely New Year's Day, with a high of 25 degrees.
