Learn to Protect Your Identity at Three Rivers Library Program

Standard Bank's Stephanie Coleman will direct a progam called "Identity Theft Protection" at the Minooka Branch of the Three Rivers Library.

A Three Rivers Library program tonight (Tuesday, May 21, 2013) is designed to help you protect yourself against idenity theft.

The program—"Idenity Theft Protection"—begins at 6:30 at the Minooka Branch of the library, 109 N. Wabena Ave. The program is open to men and women, boys and girls of all ages, according to Jennifer Lyons, circulation/communications coordinator with the library.

The progam will be directed by Standard Bank's Stephanie Coleman.

"When it comes to identity theft, most people assume that it won't happen to them, but you can never be sure," said Sarah Robertson, adult services librarian, in a news release. "It's important to be aware and be prepared and it's part of our job as a public library to educate our communities on all sorts of important topics, like protecting your identity."
