Music at McKinley Outdoor Concert and Car Show

On Saturday, June 23, kick off the summer with a free classic car show and outdoor concert with the Forest Preserve District of Will County at McKinley Woods - Kerry Sheridan Grove in Channahon!

At 6:00 p.m., the evening will begin with a classic car show. There is no car registration fee, and the first fifty cars to register will receive a free gift! To display your classic vehicle in the show, download a registration form from the Forest Preserve's Web site and submit it as directed on the form.

From 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., you can dance the night away at a free concert featuring the eclectic sounds of Soul Motion, a band whose performance of rock & roll, R&B, and soul classics will have you moving out of your seat.

Pack your cooler with cold beverages and bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy a night of music under the summer night sky. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase from Heroes West Sports Grill.

The concert is open to anyone 16 years or older. No reservations or tickets are necessary. Wearing insect repellent is recommended.

Generous sponsors for this event include Chiro One Wellness Centers, Bill Jacobs Subaru, Chicagoland Speedway, Enbridge, Exelon, and Northern Illinois Steel Supply Company.

The event is hosted along paved pathways on manicured lawn. In providing programs and services to the public, the Forest Preserve District will make reasonable modifications to ensure that all people have an equal opportunity to enjoy District offerings. View more information or request accommodations on the Forest Preserve's Web site.
