Yep, even in a day and age of tablets and mobile communication devices, Minooka seventh- and eighth-graders are required to bring 12 pencils (No. 2 with erasers) when they report for the first day of school on Aug. 20.

Minooka seventh- and eighth-grade students are required to bring six black, blue or red medium-point pens to use in classrooms.

And No. 3?

You guessed it if you side notebooks and writing paper.

Minooka seventh- and eighth-graders are required to have five one-subject, wide-ruled notebooks with perforation (various colors) and five marble color composition books (100 pages each).
