Yet Another White House Obamacare Delay: Out-Of-Pocket Caps Waived Until 2015

Friends:  As you may have heard yesterday, the government mandated out-of-pocket caps of $6350 for individuals and $12,700 for families has now been delayed until 2015.

The Forbes article below mentions that "insurers and premium-payers will be happy..." I believe the reason is:

1. It demonstrates the administration's growing concern for the higher pricing as a result of guaranteed issue, mandated benefits, etc. If insurance companies can raise out-of-pockets, they can lower the cost.

2. This move also elucidates the constant and ongoing struggles with this complex and convoluted law. Many more changes are likely to come. 

3. Most importantly, this latest change fits perfectly with my committed & long standing strategy of helping my clients with higher out-of-pocket plans at lower costs & then selling supplemental plans to fill the gaps. 

Since all plans will be guaranteed, comprehensive, and virtually unlimited, this change will allow those I have served and my new and future clients an "escape valve" to lower costs, properly & securely be protected in their health & wealth.
