Yorkville Christian High School Announces New Tennis Coach

Former Aurora Christian tennis standout, Jon Stott, joins the Mustangs as their first every boys' and girls' tennis coach.  As a high schooler, Jon was an Illinois State Finalist and ranked 6th in the nation in doubles.  He was a three year letter winner on the Men's Tennis team at Arizona State University, while also being named to First Team All-Academic for the PAC-10 Conference.  He has experience working with thousands of tennis athletes through his experiences at IMG Academy in Florida and now at JStott Tennis Academy in Aurora.  When asked about the position at YCHS, Jon said, "I was blessed to have great Christian coaches and teachers throughout my playing career.  They taught me the great sport of tennis and mentored me in my walk with the Lord.  I am eager to pass it on to the Mustang athletes now!"  Jon currently attends Willow Creek Community Church.
