Channahon's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Village of Channahon
and Three Rivers Library District  invites
you to kick off the holiday season with the  Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Event from 3 to
5 p.m. on Sunday, December 8.  The event
will take place at the Village Hall, 24555 S. Navajo Drive.

The festivities will kick
off at 3 p.m. when Santa makes his grand entrance with the help from the Channahon
Fire Protection District to the Village Hall.

Bundle up because we will
have horse-drawn carriage rides and then come inside to warm up with some hot
cocoa and cookies.  A variety of
Christmas Trees will be on display.  The
trees will be decorated with ornaments made by Channahon Park District -Kids Connection,
Kidz Korner & Kiddie Kampus Learning Center.

Relax and enjoy a musical performance by Mr. Kevin
Becker and the Channahon Junior High School Band.   You
will also have the opportunity to sing Christmas carols along with the MCHS
Madrigals.  Three Rivers Library District
will have cookies to decorate and craft projects for the children.  Santa will be available for photographs
before the tree lighting.

The event will conclude
as Mayor Joe Cook along with Little Miss Channahon and her court countdown to
light the Christmas Tree.
