Lions Tootsie Pop Days

The Channahon Lions, who for the past 5 years have been the TOP collecting Lions Club in the State will participate in the Lions of Illinois Foundation Tootsie Pop days.  The money that the public donates allows the Lions to provide money for vision screening, diabetes awareness/testing programs; hearing testing; Camp Lions for blind and deaf children up to age 18; Helen Keller Camp for adults over 18 and local eye glasses and hearing aids.  In short - the money collected allows us to be the knights of the blind as referred to by Helen Keller back in 1921.  So if you see a Lion or volunteer out this weekend.  Stop by and drop off some change.  We need you, because they need US.  We are at Speedway on Rt 5; Circle K at RT 6 and Ridge Rd. and at the I-55 Rt 6 overpass.
