Fine Dining: L2O oh…

Private tour of a fine dining establishment

I had one of the most life changing experiences last week!  I had a private tour at the fabulous and renowned fine dining establishment L2O.  The world class restaurant located inside of the Belden-Stratford Hotel was an experience in itself. No it was more than that, it was wonderful.  The manager Dave is the embodiment of what a fine dining restaurant should represent.  He was very attentive, he offered to take my wet coat and umbrella and place them in the closet so that I could dry off.  He was very hospitable, demonstrated high attention to detail and a undeniable passion for his job!  L2O takes great pride in their presentation and the quality of everyone’s dining experience.

You are introduced to the art of their food.  They specialize in seafood and have one of the best, if not the best collection of white wines.  They have over 13 glasses for their beverage selections and a specialized way of making their own in-house bread and butter.  Cool Fact:  The butter goes through a really intricate process that has to be mastered and has its own manual. Oh, and the kitchen is CLEAN, SPOTLESS, IMMACULATE!!! My mom always said, if someone’s kitchen and bathroom are clean that is a good sign.  I also learned that the term “water closet” is not a closet that holds Evian or Fiji water it is the term for Restroom (insert laugh here, no really…lol)  Yes, during this private tour I had an ‘aha’  moment.  I learned so much and look forward to the day when I get to dine there.  Until then, enjoy the pics I snapped of L2O below.
