Channahon Police Chief Talks Technology

In today's fast-paced techno-world, police have to stay one step ahead of crooks.

After Channahon police arrested a man in a child porography case, the question of how police work has changed is one many were contemplating around the village, including Channahon police chief Jeff Wold.

Channahon Detective Adam Bogart was able to use law inforcement software to track an IP address and ultimately nab a suspect in the case. His work underscores how cops use the latest technology in order to bag criminals.

And Wold says Channahon police officers are keeping up with the times.
