Crash on Interstate 80 Shuts Down Eastbound Traffic

Illinois State Police said injuries were non-life threatening.

Illinois State Police and Troy Fire Protection District were among the responders to a crash Tuesday afternoon that shut down all eastbound lanes of Interstate 80.

Illinois State Trooper Keith Malek said although at least one person was taken to an area hospital, the injuries were not life-threatening.

State police were responding to a variety of crashes on Tuesday, he added.
