I find it very irresponsible for the newspaper to write about an arrest on someone when they don't even know the facts. If anyone bothered to look further, passenger was concealing open. Karen Gasser

I find it very irresponsible for the newspaper to write about an arrest on someone when they don't know the facts, If anyone bothered to look further, passenger was concealing liquor. Driver not charged with open liquour or DUI. This kind of reporting ruins peoples lives. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO INNOCENT TO PROVEN QUILTY. Karen Gasser

Hi Karen, All of our blotter items are taken directly from police reports posted online by the Frankfort Police Department. If you have been subsequently adjudicated of any charges, I would be happy to write a follow-up article on the adjudication. Best, Anna

She never said you were charged with a DUI. The law states "The law on Transportation or possession of alcoholic liquor in a motor vehicle (625 ILCS 5/11-502) states that "no driver may transport, carry, possess or have any alcoholic liquor within any passenger area of any motor vehicle upon a highway except in the original container and with the seal unbroken". According to the Will County Circuit Clerk's website, you were given a ticket for that as well. http://willcountycircuitcourt.com/ Sounds like YOU are the irresponsible one!
