Grundy County Grand Jury Returns Indictments

Jason Helland, Grundy County State's Attorney, has announced that on Aug. 7, 2013, the grand jury has returned the following indictments.

The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty. 

COREY ALLEN, 43, of Markham, was indicted for burglary, a class 2 felony.

JESSICA BABUREK, 23, of Morris, was indicted for retail theft of more than $300, a class 3 felony, and retail theft of less than $300, a class 4 felony.

RAYMOND BURRELL, 33, of Lansing, Michigan, was indicted for unlawful possession of more than 500 grams but less than 2,000 grams of cannabis, a class 3 felony.

PATRICK COLLINS, 41, of Burr Ridge, was indicted for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony.

THOMAS GREEN, 21, of Joliet, was indicted for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony.

CHAD HICKS, 34, of Morris, was indicted for unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a class 1 felony, and unlawful possession of heroin, a class 4 felony.

BRETT HODOROWICZ, 18, of Minooka, was indicted for forgery, a class 3 felony.

MELISSA KASALKO, 21, of Wilmington, was indicted for unlawful possession of hydrocodone, a class 4 felony.

CHARLES KUNKEL, JR., 41, of Braceville, was indicted for unlawful possession of heroin, a class 4 felony.

KEVIN LEMKE, 24, of Braceville, was indicted for unlawful possession of heroin, a class 4 felony.

ORLANDO LEWIS, 42, of Chicago, was indicted for burglary, a class 2 felony.

DAYLE MCNAB, 23, of Merrillville, Indiana, was indicted for unlawful possession of heroin, class 4 felony.

TAMARA RODRIGUEZ, 48, of New Lenox, was indicted for four counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, all are class 2 felonies, and disarming a police officer, a class 2 felony.

RYAN SHAVER, 18, of Channahon, was indicted for burglary, a class 2 felony.

BRIAN SUHLING, 21, of Coal City, was indicted for unlawful possession of heroin, a class 4 felony.

JOSEF TOBIAS, 18, of Shorewood, was indicted for burglary, a class 2 felony.

MICHAEL TORRES, 50, of Minooka, was indicted for deceptive practice, a class 4 felony.

CANDIS TRUMBLAY, 43, of Morris, was indicted for Driving under the Influence of Alcohol with a child under the age of 16 in the vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration greater than .08, a class 2 felony, and driving under the influence of alcohol knowing the vehicle was not covered by liability insurance, a class 4 felony.

BRYAN WIEKERT, 27, of Coal City, was indicted for residential burglary, a class 1 felony, and burglary, a class 2 felony.
