Grundy County Grandy Jury Indictments

Jason Helland, Grundy County State's Attorney, announced Wednesday, June 19, 2013, that the grand jury has returned the following indictments:

NOTE: The public is advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

HEATHER ARNOLD, 30, of Wilmington, was indicted for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony.

JOSE CANO, 50, of Morris, and RUBEN ESCOBEDO, 43, of Chicago, were indicted for three counts of unlawful possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, all class X felonies.

JACOB ELLIS, 24, of Wilmington, was indicted for retail theft of property in excess of $300, a class 3 felony.

ADAM ETAUGH, 42, of Peoria, was indicted for bringing contraband into a penal institution, a class 1 felony, and unlawful possession of heroin, a class 4 felony.

JAMIL GORDON, JR. 18, of Romeoville, was indicted for unlawful possession of alprazolam, a class 4 felony.

JOHNNY HOPKINS, 40, of Ottawa, was indicted for possession of heroin and cocaine, both class 4 felonies.

DAVID KLEIMAN, 23, of Tobyhanna, Pa., and ROLAND KLEIMAN, 33, of Pocono Lake, Pa., were indicted for unlawful cannabis trafficking and unlawful possession of more than 5,000 grams of cannabis with intent to deliver, both class X felonies.

DEREK MESIK, 22, of Coal City, was indicted for possession of heroin, a class 4 felony.

CHRISTOPHER MOLLE, 27, of Coal City, was indicted for six counts of forgery, all class 3 felonies.

BRIDGETTE NADING, 41, of Coal City, was indicted for deceptive practice, a class 4 felony.

MATTHEW OBROCHTA, 21, of Naperville, was indicted for possession of more than 30 grams but less than 500 grams of cannabis, a class 4 felony.

JOHN RODGERS, 39, of Morris, was indicted for two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, both class 2 felonies.

VANCE TEMPLET, 27, of Livingston, Louisiana, was indicted for aggravated battery to a police officer, a class 2 felony.

FERNANDO VIGNA, 20, of Gardner, and COLIN WEST, 19, of Gardner, were indicted for burglary, a class 2 felony.
