Joliet Men Wanted For Burglary Nabbed in Hot Car: Cops

Two men were charged with residential burglary and motor vehicle theft.

Two Joliet men linked to a burglary were arrested during an early Wednesday traffic stop.

David Garcia, 21, of 517 Pontiac St. and Francisco Rosas, 19, of 308 N. Eastern Ave. both were taken into custody about 5 a.m. down the street from Garcia's residence. They were jailed on charges of residential burglary and motor vehicle theft.

Garcia and Rosas allegedly broke into the home of an acquaintance they knew to be out of town and stole his car. They were captured in the acquaintance's car, police said.
