Minooka Prom-Goers Sickened: Police

Minooka's prom was scheduled for Saturday at the Bolingbrook Golf Club.

Emergency responders were called to Bolingbrook Golf Club, 2001 Rodeo Dr., Saturday night after four prom-goers from Minooka Community High School became ill, police said.

Bolingbrook Police Lt. Mike Rompa said the four students became sick shortly after arriving at the prom. Minooka's "The Great Gatsby"-themed junior/senior prom was scheduled to take place at the golf club on Saturday.

"All four students rode together in the same limousine and allegedly had consumed the same food items prior to the event," Rompa said, adding that as of around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, there were no additional victims.

Rompa said the incident is under investigation. No additional information on the incident or the students' condition was immediately available Saturday night.
