No One Injured in Garage Fire

Hemlock blaze reportedly causes $50,000 in damage.

No one was injured in a garage fire in the 26900 block of Hemlock on Friday night, but the fire caused about $50,000 damage. Minooka firefighters received the call around 8 p.m. Friday of a blaze in an attached garage.

"Damage was all confined to the garage," Minooka Fire Lt. Arnold Nolan said.

The home is in the village limits of Channahon, but is in the Minooka Fire Protection District.

The family remains in the home and the cause is under investigation.
