This is the second accident on Interstate 80 at mile marker 112 in two days. The accident on Friday, which was in the westbound lanes, injured two people, one seriously enough to be transported by helicoptor. The accidents on Friday and Saturday followed a fatal crash just one mile away, on eastbound Interstate 80 at mile marker 113 on Thursday. All three crashes were just east of Morris.
Illinois State police had no additional information about cause or whether or not there would be tickets issued in the crash.
