Police Blotter: Possession of Cannabis, Outstanding Warrants

Arrests made by Minooka police and other law enforcement agencies.

Mathew W. Obrochta, 21, Naperville, was stopped by Minooka police for a traffic violation in the 400 block of W. Mondamin St./N. Ridge Road, Minooka, on June 7, 2013. He was cited for possession of cannabis and possession of drug equipment. Obrachta was being held at the Grundy County Jail pending a hearing.

Brian J. Dalton, 22, Minooka, was arrested by Minooka police in the 1300 block of S. Wabena Ave., Minooka, on June 7, 2013, on an outstanding LaSalle County warrant. Dalton posted bond and was released with court information.

Bryan M. Roberts, 36, Minooka, was stopped by Minooka police for a traffic offense in the 800 block of Grant Drive/Misty Creek Drive, Minooka, on June 8, 2013. Roberts was found to have an outstanding Will County warrant was was arrested. He posted bond and was released with court information.

Robert S. Gessner, 41, Minooka, was cited for driving on a suspended/revoked driver’s license by Minooka police in the 1000 block of S. Ridge Road/Prairie Ridge Drive, Minooka, on June 8, 2013. He posted bond and was released with court information.

Matthew J. Darling, 19, Joliet, Justin W. Fox, 19, Lockport, Matthew C. Roberts, 19, Lockport, and a jevenile from Lockport were arrested by Minooka police in the 1500 block of Bluestem Lane, Minooka, on June 8, 2013, for burglary to a motor vehicle. Darling also was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of cannabis under 2.5 grams. Fox also was charged with possession of cannabis 2.5 to 10 grams. The juvenile was released into the custody of a parent. The other three subjects were being held without bond at the Grundy County Jail.

Joshua M. Carey, 23, Channahon was stopped by Minooka police in the 300 block of S. Wabena Ave./McEvilly Road, Minooka, on June 9, 2013. Police found Carey to be in possession of suspect cannabis. Police also found drug paraphernalia and suspect cannabis the passenger, Michelle J. Blackburn, 20, Minooka, admitted to possessing. Both were cited. Both posted bond and were released with court information.
