Police Search House in Channahon, Recover Stolen Items: Report

A spokesman for the Kendall County Sheriff's police said a warrant was executed and items were recovered from a home on West Leslie Drive in Channahon on Monday night.

An investigation involving a theft led Kendall County Sheriff's police to the 26000 block of West Leslie Drive in Channahon on Monday night.

Deputy Bryan Harl, a spokesman for the sheriff's department, said a search warrant was executed and items reported as stolen were recovered.

Harl said no charges have been filed as of this time. He said the investigation is ongoing—it started after Kendall County Sheriff's police received a report of a theft that had occurred in the 5400 Block of Chicago Road in Yorkville.

Channahon police chief Jeff Wold said officers from his department and several others were called to assist during the execution of the search warrant at Leslie Drive on Monday night.
