The Kendall County charges stem from the Joliet burglary, which occurred on Ridge Road. The Shorewood and Channahon incidents are in Will County, and Plainfield's are in Kendall County.

Minooka's burglaries took place in Grundy County. A Kendall County Jail representative said only the charges from Joliet and an in-state Will County warrant were showing Tuesday.

After the incident in Ravine Woods, residents were struck by the professionalism of the Channahon Police Department.

"The resident said [the officer] took this personally and that he would not let this go unsolved if possible," said Channahon Deputy Chief of Police Jeff Wold.

Both remained in the Kendall County Jail on Tuesday.
