Minooka fell short of earning a medal in a U.S. News report released Tuesday ranking the top public high schools around the state of Illinois and across America.
In a U.S. News report released Tuesday (April 23) ranking the top public high schools around the state of Illinois and across America, Minooka Community High School fell short of earning gold, silver or bronze medal recognition.
The report drew its conclusion on MCHS after judging Minooka in four main categories:
- College Readiness Index: 9.4
- Math Proficiency: 2.7
- Reading Proficiency: 2.8
- Student/Teacher Ratio: 34:1
