Joliet's Bucciferro Drafted by Sox

The Michigan State senior, a right-handed pitcher, was selected in the 14th round.

Tony Bucciferro, a resident and 2008 graduate, was drafted by the Chicago White Sox Tuesday.

The right-handed pitcher was selected in the 14th round, according to the Michigan State University Web site. Bucciferro is a senior at the school.

"I've been wanting this for my whole life," Bucciferro in the MSU story. "I didn't know if it would ever come. Seeing my name up there was just unbelievable. I'm just so happy that it all worked out."
