Minooka Bus Facility Rehab Project Will Cost Less than Expected

Bids approved for remodeling joint transportation facility.

The cost of remodeling the bus barn facility shared by Minooka Grade School and Minooka High School is going to be less than anticipated, according to a Sun-Times News Group report.

The two districts have signed off on bids to complete a $1.87 million project to improve the grounds and facilities, according to the report, and that's about $530,000 under budget.

"The numbers came in significantly lower than anticipated," Minooka Community High School superintendent Jim Colyott stated in the report.
