Minooka High School Coaches Cook Up a Good Season
The Minooka Athletic Boosters and sports coaches served about a thousand people, including athletes and their parents, at the All Sports Coaches cookout. The event, held on Aug. 22, was at the central campus.
Annually, the Minooka High School coaches cook for all the fall athletes and their families. The event is sponsored by the high school athletic boosters. About a thousand were expected to come and eat. Fall sport athletes include football, cross country, boys' soccer, golf, girls' volleyball and the cheerleaders and poms. A parent meeting follows the supper.
