Hershey Track and Field Competition

Those ages 9-to-14 years can partake in this event, which will feature running, jumping and throwing skills for a chance to advance to the state meet in Chicago or the national meet in Hershey, PA.

First and second place finishers will advance to the state meet.

Participants will compete in events including the 50, 100, 200 and 400 meter dash, 800 and 1600 meter run, the softball throw and the standing long jump.

Participants will be able to enter three events; either two running and one field event, or two field events and one running.

Advance registration will be required. The event will take place at Memorial Stadium.

Check in will begin at 5 p.m., with the event to begin at 6 p.m.
