Indian Pride Meets a Huge Success

Big turnout at last of three family-oriented meets.

A huge turnout graced the last of three Indian Pride Track and Field meets July 12 at Minooka High School. Close to 50 participants were entered in some of the 11 competitions at the fourth annual event.

Winning the popular 4 x 100-meter family relay were the Renison, Rossi and Barajas families.

David Giordano, Dan Doeing and Mike Denson each captured the long jump.

Winners of the 100 dash were Devin Ingram, Luke Stovall and Patrick Tribe.

Dylan Wamirke captured the 200, while Lou Barajas and James Hoffman were first in the 400. Hoffman also won the
800.

Patrick Tribe, Ingram and Stovall took home first-place medals in the 100.

Winners of the 55 dash were Brandon Raske and Cadden Arlis.

Jake Raske and Matt Lawton each took first in the 55 mini hurdles.

Mackenzie Chesko, Lucia Rossi and Maggie Raynor were champions in the 100 low hurdles.

Among the winners in the shot put were Zach Bolte and C.J. Monroe, while Jasmine Gragg and Jaclyn Aremka were first in the high jump.

Sarah Flintgruber took first place in the 3,200, which equals two miles.
