Community Park is the largest park in the Village of Channahon. It boasts a number of sports fields, including 3 baseball diamonds and 12 soccer fields. The park also backs up to an elaborate trail system, has a disc golf course and through an OSLAD grant, a new basketball and tennis courts, as of 2010. The park also has miles of trails, multiple picnic groves, a newly built amphitheater and a splash pad. Village fireworks are held here every year as is the hayride and bonfire in the fall.
