Theresa A. Monk, 35, Channahon, arrested on an outstanding warrent out of Grundy County. Transported to Grundy County Adult Detention Facility. Lisa A Bogard, 33, Channahon, arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Grundy County. Posted the required $375 bond. Cesar R. Ramirez, 33, Chicago, arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, following too closey and failure to yield turning left.

A Channahon woman was taken into custody by the Shorewood police.
A wanted woman from Channahon was apprehended in Shorewood by Shorewood police officers, the Shorewood police said. Jennifer Misiurewicz, 38, of 24231 Cree Drive was taken into custody shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday at 950 Brookforest Ave. Misiurewicz was arrested on two Will County warrants charging her with driving under the influence. Misiurewicz was released after posting bond.

The Shorewood police arrested a Channahon man on a drug charge.
The Shorewood cops nabbed a Channahon man holding drugs at a local gas station, police said. Jacob Procaskey, 23, of 25544 W. Bridge St. was arrested about 9 p.m. Thursday at the East Jefferson Street BP station. Officers were sent to the gas station to investigate a report of an intoxicated person, police said. There they found Procaskey, who was allegedly possessing a controlled substance. Procaskey was taken to the Will County jail and booked on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Procaskey remains in custody on a $25,000 bond.

The man, who gave addresses in Romeoville and Plainfield, checked in with a headache and high blood pressure. He checked out with a felony drug possession charge.
A local man went to the hospital with a headache and high blood pressure, but apparently didn't think they had enough drugs there for him, police said. Gregory Heintz, 35, got caught allegedly shooting cocaine in the bathroom of his Provena St. Joseph Medical Center hospital room. Heintz was arrested upon his release from the hospital Tuesday evening and was booked into the Will County jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Heintz, who reportedly gave the police home addresses in both Plainfield and Romeoville, stopped by the St. Joe's emergency room on Sept. 12. There was this one woman who allegedly slashed her boyfriend's face with a razor and also got his daughter's arm.
A Joliet woman slashed her boyfriend's face with a razor and cut his daughter's arm when she tried to intervene, police said. Lacarra Wagner, 22, of 614 Whitley Ave. was jailed on charges of aggravated battery and aggravated domestic battery in connection with the Wednesday night incident at her boyfriend's home. The law learned of the alleged attack after checking on two patients being treated for stab wounds at Silver Cross Hospital. Wagner agreed to come to the police station to discuss the incident with officers about 11 a.m. Thursday, police said. After she did she was arrested and taken to the Will County jail. Both the 36-year-old boyfriend and his 16-year-old daughter needed stitches to close their wounds, police said. Thieves …

Nomeli Cruz was found in Channahon Wednesday.
A man wanted for biting off part of another man's nose was apprehended in Channahon, the Joliet police said. Nomeli Cruz, 39, of 719 Francis St. was picked up about 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bella Flowers and Greenhouses. He was arrested on a warrant charging him with aggravated battery and transported to the Will County jail. The aggravated battery charge stemmed from an incident in 2010, said Joliet Police Chief Mike Trafton. Cruz and another man were arguing over a woman, police said. Cruz apparently had heard enough and bit the man's nose, taking off part of it with his teeth. Cruz admitted to the nose biting after his arrest, police said. Joliet police also arrest a Minooka man in a sex assault case that occurred nearly a year ago.
An eight-month pregnant woman beaten by her drug-addled boyfriend managed to escape when he went to the bathroom, Joliet police said. Officers met with the woman about 2 a.m. Sunday at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. She told them her boyfriend of the past nine months woke her up, accused her of cheating on him, and started beating her, police said. She told the officers her boyfriend, identified as 30-year-old Damon Stanislaus of 3605 Buck Ave., Joliet, was high on PCP, police said. He allegedly held her captive in the Buck Avenue house and stopped her from calling the police. It looks like these guys had a hard time somewhere along the line.
We're not saying whether these guys did anything wrong or not — who are we to judge? — but it looks like they've already been punished to some extent by somebody. Like we said, we're not judging anyone. But we would like to point out that none of these people are from Shorewood. You know. Just saying.

We don't know what possesses a man (or woman) to cultivate a patch of hair between his (or her) lip and nose. Is it to compensate for a real or imagined shortcoming? Is it a bid to convey masculinity or authority? Is it because the mustache man thinks no woman can resist a tuft of facial hair right above the mouth? We have no idea. Maybe you should ask one of these guys.
