Channahon Police Lt. Mark Fischer said the department took seven incident reports of damage to vehicles, but that around 20 people were victims in the incidents. That means that a number of cars in the same vicinity were damaged at the same time. "Our evidence techs believe it’s a BB gun," Fischer said. Preliminary police investigations showed that the officer was sitting at the light on Meadow, facing east. When the light turned green, he proceeded into the intersection of Meadow and Larkin.
