Because every day is a nice day when you're in Joliet.
It's hard not to smile when you're in a place as great as Joliet. Even if you're stuck in the Will County jail, the frowns are inevitably upside down. Don't believe us? Well, here's proof. Check it out and then come visit us here in J-town, the happiest place on earth.

Because jail can be a pretty hairy place.
Dave Wilson's always going on about what a hairy place it is here in Will County. Well, maybe he's right. But in a place as hairy as Will County, there's probably no place hairier than the Will County jail. We mean, come on, look at these guys. Really, look at them. And then tell us what you think of them. In the comments. Down there at the end.

Neck tattoo or face tattoo—you make the call!
So you're at the tattoo parlor and you have to make a decision: Do I go with the neck tattoo or do I get it put on my face? It's a question of taste—the subtle neck tattoo creeping up from the collar of one's shirt, or the bold forehead or face tattoo screaming to the world, "I'm a winner!" So what do you choose? Let us know in the comments. And if you can't make up your mind, you can always go with both.

Donald Trump isn't going to be messing around with this contest.
We saw in the news how Donald Trump is suing some woman who says his beauty contest is fixed. That's really a shame. What's the world coming to when the integrity of a beauty contest is openly questioned? Well, no one can impugn this first ever Miss Will County jail. This contest is completely on the level. And why shouldn't it be? There's nothing at stake, and the contestants probably don't even know they're involved. But whatever. Tell us in the comments who your favorite is, and we will crown her Miss Will County jail.

It's ladies' night (or day, depending on when you get around to checking it out) at the Shorewood Patch Rogues Gallery.
Today's Shorewood Patch Rogues Gallery is all about the ladies. So take a look through and tell us about it in the comments.

It looks like these guys had a hard time somewhere along the line.
We're not saying whether these guys did anything wrong or not — who are we to judge? — but it looks like they've already been punished to some extent by somebody. Like we said, we're not judging anyone. But we would like to point out that none of these people are from Shorewood. You know. Just saying.

All these guys have mustaches.
We don't know what possesses a man (or woman) to cultivate a patch of hair between his (or her) lip and nose. Is it to compensate for a real or imagined shortcoming? Is it a bid to convey masculinity or authority? Is it because the mustache man thinks no woman can resist a tuft of facial hair right above the mouth? We have no idea. Maybe you should ask one of these guys.

It's always time for tank tops in the county jail.
Butterflies, baseball, flowers, robins, tank tops. They're all sure signs of spring. Except for at the Will County jail, where the tank top is always in style. But just because it's a regular, reliable fixture of fashion doesn't mean it shouldn't be celebrated. So let's do that celebrating right now with this week's spring-time tank top Rogues Gallery.

Because yesterday was April Fools' Day.
We've always loved April Fools' Day. Ever since we were kids. We got a kick out of the tricks and practical jokes and everything. So in honor of April Fools' Day, we give you this Shorewood Patch April Fools' Day Rogues Gallery. Now we're not saying these guys are fools or anything, or even that they look foolish. But they're not exactly photogenic either.

Please allow us to introduce this guy.
The Shorewood Patch Rogues Gallery is just one guy this week, and we really don't know all that much about him. But we do know one thing — his middle name is Lucifer. And that's enough for us.
