I grew up in Westchester and became an athlete and fan of sports because of my Dad and both of my Grandpas.  They were all very good athletes and avid fans of their teams.  They all instilled that trait into me. 

I was fortunate enough to attend St Joseph High School in Westchester and play basketball for the legendary Gene Pingatore.  Coach Ping (as his players refer to him) not only taught me how to succeed athletically, but also as a person.

I have been a resident of Channahon since 2004, and I have found Channahon a great place to call home.

In this blog I will write about our local professional teams such as the Bears, Blackhawks, Sox, Cubs and Bulls.  I will also blog about college teams such as Notre Dame (yes I am a fan), Northwestern and Illinois.  I am not just interested in the game performances, but I get into the strategies, and business aspects of the sports industry.
