Woman Stole Narcotic Painkiller from Minooka Pharmacy: Police

No one was injured in the robbery, which took place shortly after noon Wednesday, Minooka police said.

A woman who demanded a Minooka Health Mart Pharmacy employee give her a prescription painkiller has been arrested for robbery, according to a news release issued late Friday night by the Minooka Police Department.

Bridget L. Price, 21, of Minooka, is accused of going into the 508 W. Mondamin St. pharmacy shortly after noon Wednesday and giving the clerk a note demanding Norco, a codeine-based narcotic used to relieve pain, the release said. Price was given a bottle of hydrocodone.

Price fled on foot, and was captured a short while later south of the pharmacy. She is being held in Grundy County jail pending a bond hearing.

No weapon was displayed, and no one was injured in the robbery, the release said.

In addition to a robbery charge, Price is also facing counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic syringe.
